40 years of Easy Rider. A celebration; November 15, 2009

The main event will be held on Sunday, November 15th at 12:30 p.m. at the Poydras Center with gumbo, documentary footage of our local stars, an exhibit, and speakers. This will be followed by a ride at 3:00 p.m to The Bear’s Den in Morganza, just down the road from the old Meloncon’s Café where a 40th “Birthday Cake” will be served  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #1)

once again a life may have been saved today by a PFD, a sailboat overturn today in the high winds on False river. When PCSO,LW&F,Poin te Coupee Fire Dist #3, & Acadian Ambulance arrived one male was being aided by a passing by boater towing him to safety  (Oct 17, 2009 | post #6)
