hmmm - I don't think you're wrong. I've lived in Cedar Grove for years and I think it's always been 25 mph. I'm almost positive signs are posted, at least on Hickory. Then again, maybe we're both crazy. So I don't think this "change" will help at all. I actually think they should put another 4-way stop at Hickory and Tierney/Dewsbury. It may not decrease the traffic, but it should slow it down some and it would make it much easier to cross Hickory. (May 28, 2008 | post #3)
My daughter will be turning 3 in August and I'm thinking of signing her up for dance or tumbling class in the fall. Just looking for opinions on what the the best place is. Danceworks, Miss Cindy's? Something else? Also, if anyone knows of anything else that would be good for a very active, outgoing 3 year old girl, please let me know. Thanks! (May 16, 2008 | post #1)
I have also lived off of Hickory Drive for the past 25 years - both as a child living with my parents and now as an adult with my own family. Anyone remember when there was no light at 663 and Hickory? There weren't any people using Hickory as a bypass then. My parents wouldn't even use that intersection back then. There is way too much traffic now, and most people are not going 25 mph. (for those of you who do...thank you). It's also almost impossible to make a left out of my street onto Hickory. I'm not sure what would help - but that EZ pass thing sounds good. Maybe 4 way stops at each intersection? (May 16, 2008 | post #31)
