RP is 'hottest real estate market in Southeast Asia'

That's right. The Philippines boasts its real estate developments which are up to par and that are economic- friendly and within your means as well. More and more people are into condominium acquisition lately. I actually bought one from DMCI homes which is called Zinnia Towers.  (Aug 27, 2012 | post #59)

How reputable are the real estate courses offered by real...

Here in the Philippines, there had been generous cases on agents pretending as either agents or agents with license. Good thing, there had been a rule implementing these agents to take an examination.  (Aug 27, 2012 | post #4)

Hiring one is very helpful, though this may not be for everyone. But since money is no object for me, especially at times like this(buying a home)I'd be willing to receive services from them rather than consul on the Internet. I hired an agent when I bought a unit in The Amaryllis along Quezon City.  (Aug 27, 2012 | post #3)

Considering an Investment: Condo or Residential House?

Well, its a condominium development from DMCI Homes in which is receiving a number of criticisms. It is set to stand behind a historical landmark. And because of that, the developer is deemed disrespectful. I believe that it isn't, since it was already allowed by the city to sustain its operations.  (Aug 27, 2012 | post #24)

Considering an Investment: Condo or Residential House?

Hello there mearl. I'm from the Philippines, and yes, we have readily surpassed this recession although we are still affected by the expositions of the macroeconomic impacts of the crisis in our country's setting, not to mention, its prevalent poverty scenario. But concerning our real estate industry, we our doing good. Developers have been building their towering developments and more and more people are seeing their advantages.  (Aug 8, 2012 | post #22)

Well, you must also try Bicol Express, since I'm a native from that administrative region of the Philippines. Vacationers in our country prefer to rent condominiums as retreat homes under short term lease instead of booking in hotels. With condominiums, they get lower rental cost as compared to hotels. DMCI Homes provide them.  (Aug 8, 2012 | post #19)

Well- Known Real Estate Developer

Well, we have a lot of developers in the country but I may say that DMCI Homes is what most people including I trust the most, not only because it's well- known but because it does know how to care for its customers and homeowners. I am asking this because there are some developers who are prominent in the business, and yet have not serviced well.  (Aug 8, 2012 | post #8)

Well- Known Real Estate Developer

Do I need to consider buying condo from a well-known builder/developer? What are the possible advantages could it give to me as a home buyer?  (Jun 7, 2012 | post #1)

You're certainly right. Convenience and satisfaction are just among of the many factors that encourage people from purchasing a real estate property, or goes with any product and services in the market. Diversity ,however, would likely to be seen on its developer, and they better be good at providing quality at all times. Whether it be a residential or a condo space, I believe DMCI Homes' developments are by far the best.  (May 31, 2012 | post #15)

That brings me to pointing out the fact that you have 2 condos. And I still don't seem to understand the disparity of your response. :) However, I am glad you've answered this question. It has always been a debate really. But I would like to believe that investing in one is an effective way to increase your total net worth. Real estate is appreciating faster than the inflation rate in many parts of the country and it actually can become a safe alternative to the stock market.  (May 23, 2012 | post #8)

Which do you think from the option is more realistic? Or to put it directly, which is better?  (May 23, 2012 | post #1)
