AA acts on rising reports of attacks by volunteers
Thanks for the link. Nothing new about this information, but the more press it gets the better. What's disturbing is that most AA's don't deny this, they just blame the victims by saying that they should have kept their pants on. Never mind that people coming in the rooms are in a vulnerable state...always minimization and denial. (1 hr ago | post #4)

You mean the kind where you're expected to present evidence? (7 hrs ago | post #193)
I have no idea what you're trying to say. When you first said "wall" I thought you meant it metaphorically. Do you intentionally speak gibberish to confuse people enough that they walk away from a discussion in frustration, allowing you the delusion of a victory? (Yesterday | post #174)
Right on the money, except for your last statement...I would insert the word "rational ". The mental gymnastics that these people perform to make outdated biblical claims fit with modern discoveries is nothing short of astonishing and definitely requires thought...just not honest or rational thought. We'll never reach a wall of the universe. Stars fade and die, galaxies collide, and it's vast beyond comprehension. Of course, none of this was known to those who wrote the texts that your religion is centered around. They had no idea about the size of the universe, the earth was a sphere revolving around a star...so they came up with other explanations. This in itself, the fact that these primitive people were looking for answers and settled on myths because they had no alternative, pretty much wipes your gods out of existence. So you see...your statement really supports my position better than your own. (Saturday | post #160)
What I see is that your thinking and reasoning skills have a wall of religious dogma around them, preventing in many cases, rational thought. (Saturday | post #159)
And it actually IS expanding, but his point is lost on me. I see the comparison with Confucious (sp) you're making...I hadn't looked at his attempted style as such but I think that's pretty accurate (to what he's trying to do/be). (Saturday | post #155)
I'm just going by what an alleged Jesus said earlier on this thread...I don't expect that either Jesus nor Lucifer will tell me anything, because I see no reason to believe that either exist. I have seen many people do very disturbing and harmful things to themselves and other because they did believe in these characters, as well as others. Too many, such beliefs are dangerous.
