London mayor hopes 0.5% credit will help tax win
Yes they are good men. And care about their community. And I don't see it as a "decaying town." That's just an insult. These guys deserve more help to provide for the city. (Oct 23, 2009 | post #5)
Fatal Madison County fire declared arson
Good grief! This story has generated some of the strangest posts I've seen on here for awhile. First when things like this happen; it's only natural to suspect foul play. That's this day and age. There have been some pretty insensitive remarks made as well as some truly interesting. It don't make sense to me that he thought his family were safe when he couldn't get into either door. I would have rounded them up to a safe place. Screw the house and car. It said they were found by the back door. That seems odd. No one can guess his state of mind or reactions but I believe seeing my family out and safe would be a mans first priority. "He thought they were out" just don't seem logical. This truly a sad event and the waste of some lives of a wonderful mother and children. I pray for Peace and a resolution; however it ends for those involved. (Oct 18, 2009 | post #22)

Authorities identify victim in fatal crash
I read through these comments Monday. I really couldn't believe some of the things people think they have to say about this accident. Now, I have a sick sense of humor, but I'ts a shame some of the things people have to say about this unfortunate death. First, I drove semi for 27 years. Been everywhere, done everything. Trucks are large dangerous vehicles. Some folks blame trucks no matter what. 75% of the public dosen't have the sense to stay away at a safe distance. Not enough is taught about sharing the road with these necessary evils. I've almost killed hundreds of these stupid idiots. STAY away from them. Also, I've lived here all my life. We use this exit/entrance almost daily (29) going to Columbus. Construction or no construction this is a very dangerous stretch. People drive too fast and radical. My wife an I decided to take a poll one morning. 89% of travelers were on the phone. Cars and trucks. Thats out of 356 vehicles before Rome Hilliard exit. We saw 8 police vehicles. 78 out of state vehicles. Not counting trucks. Mostly I wanted to say it's sad a young person died for whatever reason. These random commenters need to stay out of the discussions if they just want to spread crap. Just remember as you say this crap the grim reaper is standing over your shoulder waiting to see how he's gonna get your ass. I hope you get slammed by a big old Mack truck. (Oct 7, 2009 | post #86)

Sex offender sentenced to 20 years in prison
Scary thing was he lived right across from the library. All them kids walking around. Glad this guy is out-of-town. He'll have lot's of fun where he's going! Just saw him on news; said he was innocent. (Aug 13, 2009 | post #10)
