When minorities win court cases for racial discrimination (remember the Denny's restaurant settlement?), and a $$multi-million settlement is reached, are you saying that they reason they won is because white women were excluded from the jury? Great post. To expand on Garrig's observation, I'd say that Obama "failed" in PA and WV due to precisely such a semi-pathological state as mentioned by yourself. Generally speaking, white folks in the USA (and probably ALL Americans) are very keen observers of status. The least secure among them definitely seem to be ANGRY onlookers when minorities flourish and succeed in the competitive rat-race. From your comments though, maybe more self-reflection is still needed. Much more. That may be LLL's focus and primary concern, yes.... and LLL is certainly free to jump up and down and raise Holy Hell about the post.
