What does God allow suffering?
Ever wondered? You may or may not read the Bible, but the answers are there. For one thing God does not cause the suffering. The Bible states at James 1:13 says the we should never blame God for evil things that happen to us because "For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he hinself try anyone." God is not as mysterious as folks like to make him. He wrote us a letter using 40 men over 1500 years but the explanations are there. I am like you and the prophet Habukkuk in that I wish all the suffering would be over soon. (Check out Habakkuk 1:1-4) The good news is that our Creator does have a time set in which to right all the wrongs on this planet and it is not far away!! I know, I know, sounds like all the other doomsday folks, but this is different- first, the signs are happening globally that Jesus gave, and second the Earth will not be blown to bits or something of that nature, but wickedness will be removed-see Psalms 37:9-11, 29 The Earth and all those who love righteousness will get to stay right here in a beautiful paradise-seriously , it is true. Actually you do not need to have the perfect job (of course that would be ideal, let me know if you find it, smile) to know "the very knowledge of God" because if "we search and seek for it as for silver and hid treasures," we will find it. We can "know the truth and the truth shall set us free." Could you expound upon his "real plan"? You are correct in that Satan (the name Lucifer cannot be verified by ancient texts) was created by God. sorry it took me so long to get back to you. i was just saying that if you start monitoring all areas of the country and the world for that matter you will see that omaha is just experiencing what most areas are. as for the second part of the question regarding race-actually crime is most closely related to poverty. since minority groups have a higher percentage of people that are poor you see more crime. this is NOT an excuse by any means. it is just the most common factor. honesty, goodness, kindness etc... do not cost anything therefore you can practice those things regardless of your socio-economic status. i think many people decide that there is nothing to lose by being a criminal so that is the course they choose. i would much rather focus on the answer to crime, violence, hatred, disease and even death-God's Kingdom. it may seem like a fantasy, but if you have any faith at all in God's word the Bible I can prove to you that one day this Earth will be a paradise and all those that love violence and the like will be removed, and those who love peace and righteousness will remain. It just seems that way about Omaha. Actually, if you really look at it, violence is pervasive worldwide. As for the second part of the question, there is a lot of reasons we see crime in certain groups. It is not a cut and dried answer.What is however is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
