Be very careful, as a true conservative (not Republican) I have been sold out by all parties. I claim none of them. Sanford got and will get his just rewards. I am quite sure his wife is going to make him pay far beyond what he might think, and rightly so. Still a dirty bag is a dirty bag no matter what is written on the outside of it. A real man of honor would have stepped down, Sanford is not an honorable man. I am sick or the Republican party and sick of the feeling I get when going in to the voting both and seeing what scum I have to choose from. I feel that my vote is worth more than the crap that is out there. I for one do not want to be lumped in with the crowd that is out there. So I am a personal conservative beholding to no party. If nothing else this is a breach of trust. A man who claimed to be a family man and a Christian. Judge the fruit???? Is he trust worthy in his own home????? Is he faithful to the faith he claims???? If he is not worthy of trust in his own home is he worthy of yours and my trust????? If his acts speak louder than his words is this man worthy of any trust? He didn't just breach the trust of his family, he spits on your and my trust, that was put in him to run our state. We have a right to judge the fruits. To call a snake a snake. For someone to make claims to be something he is not, just to have people vote him in to office. That is a breach of trust. With leadership comes responsibility. One must lead by example. Mark Sandford made a target of himself and did something most stupid. What did he expect? He sold out the people that put their trust in him. His family and he disgraced them. His kids didn't deserve this but he gave it to them. He made a covenant with his wife and sorry but he spit on that. All goes back to, I can't hear what you are saying, your actions are speaking louder than your words. If he had not put himself up as a defender of high moral values then he would not be held accountable to those same values. It is not a sin to hold someone accountable to the trust they have asked for. Nor is it a stone that is being thrown, when that person breaches trust, to demand they step down from their high office. Should school hours become longer or shorter?
What does it matter? The administrators cut out teach but don't have to give up anything themselves. There is too much fat at the top but you will never do anything about that. SC is always at the bottom of testing and there is no accountability. The system is broken but no one is willing to address the problem. Teachers are getting dumped on by the state, the administrators, the parents and the students. They can't take control of the classroom for the fear of law suits and no one is backing them up. Cut the fat at the top and let the teachers have back the control they need in the classroom. Get ride of the kids that don't want to learn and hold the parents accountable for them. What is the one crime a man can be accused of that no matter what the truth is, he will be forever condemned? So lets say it was a lie and the man was innocent. His life was over! Make someone mad at you and let them call DSS and say you abused a child. You are guilty with no hope of defense. You life is forfeit, over, done. Even it the you are proved innocent your name is gone. Anyone can make a claim to DSS and they are protected even if they lie. Make someone at church mad and just think how much bigger it is played in the media. I mad someone that mad but what they and DSS didn't expect is my stepdaughters grandfather used to be the head of DSS. I went straight to him first. It was the only time I know of that DSS trembled in an investigation. Lucky for me the other people making the claims wouldn't stop and proved that someone had it in for me. How ever there was nothing that I could do but suffer through it. Not to mention what my daughter had to go through. Let me ask you this what would any of you thought of me??? Same reaction that you have here???? You you try to burn my house down or have me killed? I was lucky because I had a very powerful friend and let me tell you if he thought it was true I would have been under the prison. Casting stones? Forgiveness is an act done out of compassion. Asking forgiveness is asking for mercy when deserving judgment. Asking forgiveness is knowing that first you are not worthy of that forgiveness and mercy is receiving something that you are not worthy. Compassion is what gives someone the ability of offering forgiveness and giving it. Compassion meaning concerned passion, or concerned love. Something that is never found in justice.
