Creationists in Minneapolis/St. Paul give Darwin new intro
Organized religion is mythology, nothing more. (Yesterday | post #105)
Cretin-Derham Hall to face Eden Prairie in Prep Bowl
Oh poor you. Have some cheese with that whine. EP, Wayzata, and Stillwater have good teams because they have good programs, and they are huge schools (all in the top 5 in enrollment, I believe), so when you're conducting tryouts, you're getting the best players out of hundreds of kids. You're going to have a good program when you're getting the best of the best. They are public schools - is it their fault their school districts are so big? CDH also has a great program, but is small enough to play AAAA, or maybe even AAA, but they choose to challenge their players against the bigger schools and better programs. If you have a football player around St. Paul, would your son rather play at Highland/Como/whatever, or play at CDH? Would your son rather go to a small private school in EP/Wayzata/Stillwater, or go to the bigger school where the program is better? In life, there are winners and losers. Odds are you're one of them. It's only high school football. Get over it, and maybe be happy for the players. (Monday | post #19)
A year after Iowa-Minnesota sex-in-the-Metrodome incident, a sm...
The PP reported has to go to Iowa to cover the game, and they get there a couple days early. What else are they going to do? It's Iowa! Maybe they were just trying to find out which stall the couple was going to be in this time.... (Friday Nov 20 | post #26)

David Kahn defends Wolves' roster moves
Kahn had to blow things up in order to begin the rebuilding process, much like Chicago did 5-6 years ago. Once Kevin Love returns, they'll be more competitive. Wisconsin Vikings Fan has it right - Kahn isn't going to turn things around in one year after McHale trashed the roster and the salary cap for years. (Wednesday Nov 18 | post #14)

Illegal deer baiting in Minnesota has hit new levels, DNR says
You're only talking about the percentage that was actually caught. I think a LOT more than 1% are baiting. Not a majority, or anywhere close, but too many nonetheless (Wednesday Nov 11 | post #24)

Return to Lambeau Field is a home run for Brett Favre
What did it take for the Packers to win their Super Bowl more than a decade ago? Reggie White, who came from Philly. The Packers couldn't do it alone without Philly (and probably other teams, too), I guess. (Monday Nov 2 | post #26)
Paul Charchian's fantasy football report
Why does the PP continue to print these reports? They're mostly worthless. (Friday Oct 30 | post #1)
Plenty of Favre-works for Vikings in Pittsburgh
The only problem is that we'd actually have to listen to excerpts of Paul Allen. (Tuesday Oct 27 | post #12)
