Really.. I guess it hasn't worked for all the other teams that have new stadiums? Follow this nube's advice and get yourselves a UFL team. There's no place for you at the adult's table! L.A., Future home of the Schisms!! (Monday Nov 23 | post #71)
Joe Soucheray: The Vikings' stadium gambit: Mike Lynn, without ...
This writer is an idiot. Did Ed Roski want majority ownership of the Lakers when he built Staples Center? The Kings? No, he's a minority sports owner at best and a developer on a mass scale. He's got a good plan for L.A. that will take your team, Wilf's and all. Don't let this fool spew his lame opinion and take it as fact. The fact is, you are losing the Vikings and you have your governor to blame. Sober up and smell your own casinos, cause thats all you have left. (Monday Nov 23 | post #70)

Minnesota Vikings owner Wilf goes straight to legislators
Why not offer Ed Roski $150m outright to build the stadium in Minnesota instead of L.A... much smaller taxpayer impact and you keep the Vikings in Minn with his investors dealing with the NFL and the Wilfs.. they get the procedes, you get jobs and all the spin off industry that goes along with running a stadium year round. (Monday Nov 23 | post #115)
Minnesota Vikings owner Wilf goes straight to legislators
Sounds like a state not interested in having a pro franchise to me. Sorry Many-haha, your liberal estrogen has taken over. Just read all of these posts and you realize that immediately! I think to myself, 'don't they have any pride or sense of tradition in that state anymore?' Then I remember how left your state is, and liberal ideology NEVER takes pride into consideration. So say goodbye to the icon of your state. Your should just put an indian casino on your flag and call it a day! (Monday Nov 23 | post #79)
Proposal passes to offer Minnesota Vikings lease extension
It really shocks me that so many in Minnesota could care less about my beloved Vikings.?.. I live in California but some of my family is still there, and they are heartbroken at the posibility that they might lose the icon of your state. When people outside of your state think of Minnesota, what do you think we see? The Mall, Paul freakin Bunyun, business headquarters, lakes, snow, icefishing??? Heck no, the Vikings are THE icon of Minnesota. A team with no championship, but you continue to cheer and back your team out of loyalty, tradition, PRIDE!!! I guarentee, out of all the top teams, there are more people rooting for the Vikings than all the rest. They deserve success. It is finally their time. Favre or no Favre, this team deserves the limelight. Childress and the Wilfs have put together the finest team position by position in the NFL. And you chose now to say who the fu@% cares??? wow.. I will never understand or be glad if you idiots lose this franchise!!! enjoy obscurity if you do, because that will be all you have left.. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #48)
Proposal passes to offer Minnesota Vikings lease extension
...and stadiums get used year-around Teresa; motocross, concerts, monster trucks, other types of sports, There are lots of areas of revenue for a stadium. The NFL insists that the facility is usable 12 months of the year. This all generates revenue for the city too, not just the Vikings or the NFL as a whole. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #42)
Proposal passes to offer Minnesota Vikings lease extension
Ya, you'll have an elite pro franchise, jobs, shopping, improved transportation system.. your whole downtown would be transformed!.. oh, and this thing called PRIDE. Cuz from what I'm reading, Many-haha is seriously lacking in that catagory. Zygi is ready to invest heavily in Minneapolis, but the people are too small minded to understand the partnership. too late, too bad... (Thursday Nov 19 | post #40)
Proposal passes to offer Minnesota Vikings lease extension
You all are truly fools if you believe this small brain dumb@$$!! $150 mil of the L.A. Stadium will come from a taxpayer bond. and do you honestly believe that the Wilf's wouldn't pick up the cost of moving the team to the #2 profit market in the country? Don't let idiots spout information from 20 years ago. L.A. and California as a whole, want this to happen. The MetroLink will pull people from all over Southern California to this ideal location. 10 years from now, high speed trains will link Northern Cal and Las Vegas to within miles of The City of Industry. This isn't a matter of if, as your fellow statesman above seems to think, its happening NOW! And your team, as of today, has become #1 on Roski's radar! I'm thinking The L.A. Schisms!! I like that.. Burn the ships at Malibu!!! http://sports.yaho o.com/nfl/news?slu g=ap-nfl-losangele s&prov=ap& type=lgns (Thursday Nov 19 | post #30)
Proposal passes to offer Minnesota Vikings lease extension
First the legislature screws you. Your liberal-in-disguise Governor abandons you, and now the MSFC gets greedy and makes a horrible miscalculation. The Vikings have just been poised to leave Minnesota, and it truly is a shame. Remember something: the Vikings are #1 at the food line of NFL team profit sharing. Jerry Jones and other owners have stated that this system of even revenue is going away. That alone will kill the Vikings in Minnesota. Now this?? I really thought lately, that it was going to be Jacksonville moving out here. The people Minnesota need to stand up for once and demand the resignation of MSFC Chairman Roy Terwilliger and Paul Thatcher. I'm sure this won't happen because of the majority liberal state that you have become. Social free-be's instead of stadium jobs! But hey, your stupidity is our gain. Maybe your casino indians will give you jobs. See you in L.A. Mr. Wilf!! (Thursday Nov 19 | post #27)
Horse-collar on Vikings' Adrian Peterson?
Can't carry the ball like you stole it from the mellon patch! 6 fumbles fron AD in the 4 games against the Lions! wow I'm just glad he didn't blow a hammy with that obvious horse collar.. (Tuesday Nov 17 | post #15)
