Woods road bike path almost unuseable
Time to get the inmates back out to the bike path along The Woods Road. So much sh......stuff on it from the latest storm, time to clean it again! (Wednesday Nov 18 | post #1)
Thanks Falcon: Ya, some people need to believe stuff like that. As if real life is not exciting enough! When I see some of their videos on youtube I just shake my head, crazy stuff. This gal and I had a great time but did not see eye to eye on Unarius. Thanks for talking here on Topix. (Saturday Nov 14 | post #9)
T-falcon, I'm surprised you and I are the only one's talking about this group. Maybe those on this board are more interested in car crashes and the like! With more research I sadly found out the girl I talked about (above) passed away in 2006. Only 47. When she heard about Unarius back in 1983 she latched on and never let go. There's a lot of people who study cults and why people join them. Lots of books out there. I just read one on Unarius specifically. A professor from California State University, Sacramento wrote it after hanging with the group for years. Interesting read, especially if you know someone who got snagged by them. Wow! Someone finally responded to my thread! T-falcon, Unarius is not as radical as, for example, Heaven's Gate. But still strange. I dated a gal years ago who heard of them on the radio (or TV?) and got sucked in. Left me and N. Carolina and moved to El Cajon. (Saturday Oct 31 | post #5)

Nobody here has a comment about this cult that's based right in your backyard? (Sep 14, 2009 | post #2)
I rode my motorcycle across the bridge a couple times; tried their lunch and then breakfast. I thought the food was very good and the prices not bad. (Sep 14, 2009 | post #4)
Anybody here heard of Unarius and what do you think of them? (Sep 13, 2009 | post #1)
