Father, Daughter Accused In West Side Slaying | WBNS-10TV...
I am a dog lover (German Shepherds Rule!!!) and like SOME pit bulls, but most of them are raised by thuglets who want a "big, bad, tough-looking dog". Most of these people do not do the proper training and spend the time socializing these dogs so that they do not become human & dog aggressive. As such they are coaxed on for aggressive behavior and learn that it's "OK". Not to mention the poor breeding standards where most of these thuglets are just breeding them for cash and not taking health or temperment issues into consideration as a trustworthy/reputa ble breeder would do. So yes, in this case I would have to agree with you as these dogs had a prior history and ANYONE who has a dog, ESPECIALLY a breed such as a German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweiler etc. needs to keep them contained and/or on a leash at all times for the safety of others and their pets as well. Yes I agree, I have had the same thing happen. We NEED the audible signal as well, on lighter note I guess if you were going to have someone hit you I guess an EMT truck is about the best one could hope for :) (Mar 4, 2011 | post #39)

I will admit I was pulled over once when I was leaving a friends house party because the cop said I went over the line on the right hand side of the road, problem was that there was about 2" of asphalt on the other side of the line and then it dropped off into gravel. If I had went over the line I would have felt it in my car due to the surface transition. I had 3 other people in the car I was taking home, which is why they pulled me over. I was under the legal limit at any rate and my case was dismissed. I left there after graduating from GCHS before I was even old enough to drink alcohol and went on to college. So I was never a patron of the bars in GroveTucky. I graduated from college and work every day, just like you. I have responsibilities as well just like any other average married person. Yes, some weekends I enjoy drinking a few cocktails and barbecuing with friends at home, so I am not out on the bar scene. I stay safe and keep it at home as a responsible adult. There is PLENTY of prejudice and lack of respect in GroveTucky, look at all of the comments above in regards to the Urbancrest area from GC residents for instance. I knew many people who had lack of respect and a narrow minded attitude towards other races, sexual preference and economic status. I even heard discussions such as this in our church gatherings after worship, talk about hypocrites! I don't have a problem with police busting drunk drivers, however I DO have a problem with them marking cars and staking out bars to see how long someone has been there and other intrusive methods to get results. The town has always been known for this even when I lived there 20 years ago. If you see someone driving erraticly, crossing the center line, or worse then by all means pull them over. But it is not right to stake out someone who goes to a bar, take note at how long they stay there and leaves to go home for the night only to be pulled over for some fabricated excuse in order to pull them over to see if they are over the legal limit and make more income for the city. It is not as much about getting a VISIBLY OBVIOUS intoxicated driver off of the road for safety as it is for revenue in GroveTucky. (Mar 4, 2011 | post #47)

It sure is better of without me and I am much better off as well. I am sure it will be there long after I am gone honey, I never said it wouldn't. You enjoy yourself down there in Grove-Tucky, I will stay up here in Columbus where folks have an open mind, and do not care about sticking their noses in other people's business, and the cops have better things to do than stake out bars at closing time. The confrontation escalated and Farron Bailey allegedly went inside a house and retrieved a baseball bat. Robert Bailey also came out of the house with a handgun and the pair attacked Dillon, police said. Dillon, 43, suffered a gunshot wound and was beaten with the bat, police said. He was transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital, where he later died." Even if Dillon did have a gun on him he obviously did not use it, Farron and Robert went inside the house and came back out with weapons. If Dillon had a gun on him I am sure he would have used it at that point. I know I would have if someone went into a home and came back out brandishing a gun and another person with a baseball bat. I think this may be what he was refering to http://www.faceboo k.com/group.php?gi d=31271264326 "2. Homeless anchor In April 1996, Channel 10's Dave Kaylor, wearing a wig, a beard and a trenchcoat, wandered downtown sidewalks and pretended to be an inebriated homeless man for a two-night feature called "Lonely Streets." As hidden cameras rolled, Kaylor distinguished himself by begging passersby for pocket change and asking an actual tin-cup-wielding beggar, "So, do you just sit around and shake that thing all day?" The most enduring image of the report came when Homeless Dave shambled down an alley singing "Amazing Grace." (Mar 3, 2011 | post #11)
