Hey Ed (clueless) Stephens, Most of the mo-peds or scooters on the road today are sporting two-stroke engines because they are lightweight and produce more power-per-pound than comparable four-cycle engines. The problem with that is that although they are small, lightweight and cheap to build they are NOT very evironmentally friendly at all! So much so that motorcross syndicates acroos the nation have sought to ban the two-strokes in lieu of the four-strokes. They simply run cleaner. There are a few that have four-cycle engines in them but they are generally more expensive and are larger displacement than the law allows for unlicensed scooters. (Jun 24, 2009 | post #65)

Geekboy: Did YOU reveala point to this story? NO! The point is that the man was NOT offered a million dollar a year job. His daughter was baiting him. Secondly IF we had a fair, spending based tax structure instead of penalizing success then we could tax drug dealers and pimps and hookers just like they were reular people. We can't currently tax them becaue their very livleyhood is illegal so they DON"T REPORT their income. However IF we taxed on the spending side nobody would have to declare their earnings AND everybody would be taxed the same! If you make a lot of money and buy a lot of stuff then you pay more taxes. 40% is not exactly more than half. But i concede there were WAY too many earmarks and I for one hav e a list of my representatives who voted in favor of the $800B stimulus AND the omnibus bills on my fridge and I will be voting for their opponents in the next congressional election.
