No relief at the pump: Gas prices continue steady climb

When gas prices went high last year I got a car with high MPG. I hate wasting money on gas.  (Jun 15, 2009 | post #44)

Higher gas prices are no big deal if your car gets 34 mpg, with mine I have no problem driving 30k+ miles per year.  (Jun 14, 2009 | post #25)

You should try selling something that really works instead.  (Jun 14, 2009 | post #7)

Gun novices have plenty of options, company

I think you are right, many people cannot handle a short barellel shotgun 9small females). Just about anyone can handle a .357 loaded with .38's.  (Feb 16, 2009 | post #56)

Great article. Recommeding a new shooter to start with a .357 is a great idea! These are easy to load, shoot, you can use .38's till you are used to it. Nothing to remember under stress except pick it up and shoot. Plus with a good JHP round it has great one shot capability. Plus if you get a good quality S&W like my 656 you have a very accurate gun. Once you have lot of practice than and only than consider an Auto. I like my Springfeild XD .45 Tactical best. 13 rounds of .45 ACP. Great gun, just females and weaker people will not be able to rack it's slide.  (Feb 15, 2009 | post #33)

Recession took the cash, now repo men take the toys

I don't want the Presisdent to fix my problems, I want him to keep out of the way. Everytime the goverment fixes a problem my taxes go up. When you pay over 20K a year in taxes and under the new bailout the people that paid no taxes get $15 a week back and I get nothing back, who do you think was screwwed!  (Feb 14, 2009 | post #40)

They did not have money, they had big payment books based on income from the real estate bubble. If they had money they would own their toys and not be repossed.  (Feb 14, 2009 | post #39)

Thousands in Florida took hit from Madoff

People, you should never invest all your money in one place, diverstify. Plus when you are old it should be in safe places. You can't earn it back when you are old.  (Feb 7, 2009 | post #9)

We think: A renewed federal assault weapons ban is long overdue

At least I already have my two AR's and yes they are great target rifles.  (Feb 3, 2009 | post #133)

Cash-strapped taxpayers file fast

I would not worry about the penalty, it is only on amounts over 5K. Plus the penality rate is very low and if you cannot afford it they give you a payment plan at a very low interest rate.  (Feb 3, 2009 | post #21)

Cash-strapped taxpayers file fast

When I own I wait till aprill 15, since I get money back this year I will file within a week. If you get too big a refund your withholdings are wrong.  (Feb 3, 2009 | post #19)

Brevard sheriff's employees 'pay' for picking up spilled coins

The coins where not abandoned by the mint, they where lost. How would you like to loose something and have the cops find it and keep it for themselves! We need to expect better from our public servents!  (Feb 2, 2009 | post #19)
