Well, I received information from a source that has proven reliable in the past, or at least, predicted well. I heard Lou is the favorite for Mayor with Deputy up in the air. Seems Joe is the front runner with Stan a consideration. I guess my previous post was wrong as far as Joe and Frank staying together. I guess we shall see shortly. (May 30, 2008 | post #25)
Lou and Joe against Frank? Are we forgetting where Joe works? (May 23, 2008 | post #19)
Old School, I don't know what part of Garfield you lived in or live in and I don't know where you get your information from, but judging from your previous comments, you are not well informed on how the parking sticker is enforced or why it was implemented to begin with. As far as your opinion on the new Police Chief, you are entitled to it and by no means am I disagreeing with you. I do disagree that he should have gotten the job a long time ago. He became chief of Police when it was his turn and I don't think he should have passed up a senior captain or the previous deputy chief. By the way, all my answers are serious and everything I say is backed up by fact. (May 20, 2008 | post #12)
Old School, there are reasons why the whole City is not checked for parking sticker violations and there is also a reason that the vehicles could not be checked on. As far as the City being Patroled, I think it is unfair to say that it isn't being patrolled because "parking Stickers" weren't checked. (May 15, 2008 | post #4)
Accused priest in Mecklenburg jail
Elena, My father had a long medical bout in Saint Mary's Hospital and Father Bob was very instrumental in his recovery, not only spiritual, but emotionally and mentally as well. He has visited my father at home and has broken bread at my father's table. The news of his arrest devistated my father. We pray everyday that the allegations are false and he will be able to return to all that need and miss him. If you hear further on his situation, please keep me posted. (Apr 24, 2008 | post #26)
