Not much different than how Peter Warrick was still playing ball after the Dillard's incident. He wasn't arrested. Hornsby was kicked off the team. The fact that you took the time to come on a Gators blog to compare Tebow to another ESTABLISHED NFL QB is evidense of some deep rooted hostility towards Tebow. Your argument is pathetic - you are comparing stats & Tebow has not even suited up for his Junior season yet. Yeah well, all that garbage being said - Tim has something Young never achieved; First Sophomore to win the Heisman. How did he do that? 20 running TD's with 20 passing TD's. Tebow's will to win any game is only shadowed by the humanitarian in him. THAT's what truly makes him one of college football's biggest stars - he not only gets great results on the field, but his contributions off the field are even greater. There was a defensinve lineman on the 2006 UF team - he was a senior & I can not remember his name now, but his **** test came up positive ofr marijuana. Meyer made him sit out 4-5 games. Put him on probation. All he had to do was keep his nose clean & play in the NC game, but he decided to leave school property to party in Orlando (breaking probation) and was kicked off of the team. All good points FSU Fan. I believe that the punishment fit the crime for Ron Wilson. The guy was shooting into the air to break up a fight (so the story goes), although his intesions were good, the method was a little extreme. What he was doing with an AK-47? That's another story.
