Enjoy your mediocrity. For all its ills, Atlanta is still the economic engine that runs the rest of the backward state. Without Atlanta, the rest of Georgia would be nothing: no jobs, no infrastructure, no schools... Is that what makes you so angry, knowing that you are dependent upon Atlanta for your very livelihood? In my neighborhood, everyone gets along just fine. There are young straight couples with children, young gay couples with children, gay and straight singles, blacks, Hispanics, Asians. We can walk down our street and everyone we meet smiles and says "Hello" without any of that ugly bitterness and ignorance displayed by "coaltrain ". We can go to restaurants and shops and cultural events without worrying whether some idiot with an agenda is going to beat us down simply because we're different.
