Thinking for myself and taking responsibility for my own safety is what I'm talking about. I'm not an idiot for not following the sheeple. Evacuations are often more for the benefit of the local government than for the people. No, I'm not going to sit in front of a hurricane, fire or locomotive and dare the world not to hurt me. When is "mandatory evacuation" not mandatory? I've been in a fire situation and refused to leave my property. Last time I checked, in America, you can't be forced to leave your own property. The police and news media don't tell you this because it is easier to herd sheeple that are ignorant of their rights. Once you are off of your own property many of your rights vanish. I would like to see some investigative reporting on "Struggling Families". There is so much government free stuff handed out, why are these people in trouble? Is it lack of education, gumption, single parent family, what? (Nov 21, 2010 | post #1)
