The government has been trying to ween US off oil use for years. They are finally succeeding, Hybrids, electric, smaller cars, less traffic. I see it working. There is no oil shortage. Hey no name, I don,t personally know the the investigator of the accident and was just giving my opinion on this TOPIX site.I am a boater, A safe boater. Again this last weekend at Lake Havasu I was almost struck by a PWC with my kids in the boat. I was doing 25 mph pulling my 6 year old skiing & had to make an evasive maneuver. Just because you live there doesn't make you safer or smarter. I understand your point, however, Your statement "does it all really matter". What! Yea man it matters. PWC's are involved in many more fatality's than boats due to there 70 MPH speeds & no training necessary to operate.Before I let my kids ride these things, they're going to have as much training as possible.
