This is just screwed up, now I am unemployed, living paycheck to hopefully the next, my wife works full time at 16hr and goes to school full time. We have a 620 month roof payment, about 45 gas and maybe 80 electric, other costs add up to about 450 monthly , food, one cell, gas, medical "shudders ", and other needed items that fall into a monthly bias for life to balance out, i.e personal items "toothpaste etc" Our monthly income is 35.00 over our bills, and this is a very slimmed down package of necessary items. Ok so we get about if we are lucky 30.00 a month for savings. Now back to people dropping off their kids cause of issues with habitual attitudes, conduct, grades has nothing to do with safe haven. A safe haven is where children can be evaluated by situation for life threatening issues. Some of these people need charged with contempt, they obviously can afford to get their child to NE for this purpose of surrendering their parental rights. Why can't they afford the help? Amazes me the priorities I see practiced by so called "parents " This law is broken and should be fixated at a level the children will not suffer, how would you feel if your mother or father you known and loved for 14 years dropped you off and said had a good life? OMG! I don't care if my child was 45 I wouldn't refuse to help even if it cost me the last once of energy I have and the last dime in my piggy bank. Morality on human ethics needs to take about 100 paces back and see what and where we went wrong. I say too much government and too little corporate regulation, !
