question about Labadee

I believe that you can only do excursions arranged by your cruise line, which so far are within their private property. They are working on having a boat tour excursion and an excursion to the Citadel; if either of these are available when you take your cruise, you would see some of "the real Haiti" on these excursions.  (Oct 7, 2009 | post #2)

Thanks for paying attention, I noticed that, too. According to the Minstry of Planning, Bahon is the poorest commune in the north of Haiti, and O Cap has a lot of nice features to it. You can write to Fox 35 in Orlando about it, if you like. On balance, though, they did do quite an extensive report on Haiti for a local TV station.  (Jul 16, 2009 | post #2)
