Yes ,many cases "stall" in a years time however,Travis has NOT. I can help answer a few of those question and thank you. At this time areas,locations can not be disclosed at this time for Travis,however we can say,"search have been done many ,many times by land search,K-9, sonars,air searches and by water . It takes so many resources to bring specialist in however, the Baker family along with the CUE Center for Missing Persons,Law Enforcement,NCCERT ,annon. people that specialize in missing persons. more than 10 states have and will continue to follow up the search when and where needed for our Travis." As far as posting things thats a lovely idea. The myspace site for Travis is up-dated regularly along with over 50 different sites for Missing Persons are up dated with Travis' informations and up-dates. Discovery Channel just put out a great article on their forum along with their their affliated TV. IVESTIGATION ID TV SHOW . As the search continues for Travis we also aproach the 1 year mark in April on the 16th 2008. The suffering that has been endured by so many across the country due to Travis' disappearance has been life altering . Our answers may not have come in our time frame as of yet ,but, I am certain they will come in Gods time-frame until then we continue to support,pray and "day by day." No this is not Travis. Dwayne Patricia and the entire family got word on Christmas Eve to cancell all plans for the Holiday and waited until the first of January only to "read and word of mouth" to find out it was not our Travis . It was a 45 year old african american male ,father and family man that went missing also in Catawba Co. in July of 2007 . Three monthes after Travis went missing. We prayed and continue to pray for this family ,their sorrow ,pain and loss. (we find it ashame NO One knew this gentleman was missing also.) I don't think we could even put into words what that is like emotionally ,physically and otherwise. 10:54 PM EST on Saturday, December 22, 2007 Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a body found in a creek south of Boger City Friday. Deputies were called to the area about a quarter of a mile into the woods off Keener Road Friday evening, said Sgt. Lee Keller of the Lincoln Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Keller said kids playing near the creek found the body about 5pm. Deputies investigated the crime scene Friday night and again Saturday morning. Sgt. Keller said the body appears to belong to an adult, but was so deteriorated detectives can’t determine if it’s a man or a woman, or what race the person is. They can’t even say how long the body has been there. Neighbors said they’re surprised anyone could end up dead in the creek, at the end of a long, winding, wooded trail behind their homes. “It surprises me that somebody knew how to get out here,” said Thorne Fox, who lives on property adjacent to the creek. “And that kids found it,” continued Fox, “and the whole thing surprises me how close it is to my house -- that's what mainly shocks me." Sgt. Keller said it is probably not the body of Kyle Fleishman, the young man missing from Charlotte for more than five weeks. Keller said it appears the body found in the creek has been there much longer. The body will be sent to the Medical Examiner’s office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy. It was only until Augest . 16,2007 that our CUE Center for Missing Person LEGALLY received the Baker case. Again,facts are not alwaya accurate in certain stories. Yes,Travis mom DID decline a comment to crime library on the advise of the Cue Center for Missing Persons and their legal rep. that evening . I am 200% percent certain I was in the home of the Bakers. Thats the only point we will address. (Nov 20, 2007 | post #113)
