It will be defeated in a vote because people are just uneducated about it. Then next year the comission will raise county property taxes 15-20 cents again. Matt Farmer was fired from the PCSO for those offenses. Drove for DHL for a while. He then tested for the Cookeville Fire Department and made it on the hiring list. Just before he was about to start "rumor" has it that the sheriff made a call to the fire chief and maybe the city manager and he didn't get the spot. So obviously sheriff Andrews is not "covering " for him and trying to help him get by. Matt did eventually get hired by the White County Sheriff's Office. Heard he's now on the 13th DTF. Yeah that's bullshit! There's a child molester living right next to me & it gets no publicity. He was charged in Kingsport and his wife left him so he came home to live with his mother. Has allegedly molested several pre-pubecent boys. And my wife & I have to look out the window everytime we go out the house with our 9 year old son. (Jul 18, 2008 | post #64)
