Tonga establishes closer diplomatic relation with Brunei
okkkkk maybe i was a bit edgy there LOL but there's so much mockery and sarcasm feelings here toward us (Tonga) it's depressing LOL i know how/who runs this little island are not your fav people but that don't mean we're all b****y coconuts believe me i don't like it when we're being put down or make fun of so don't mind me when i seem a bit fkpo'uli every now n then LOL...and let me rephrase the gun issue again...i meant we'd be at each other's throat with helepelu and palalafa...hahaha (Nov 16, 2009 | post #6)
Samiu Vaipulu, Tonga's new Minister of Justice
u seem to know much 'bout what goes on here m sure you'll figure out where the money comes from and i quote "not ALL the money..." as you knowingly put it and YES WE WERE HAPPY TO HAVE THE BEST FOR THE OCCASION no matter how you try and bring us down on that..and next time i can afford to fktau a puaka i'll let u know seeing how we only live on crumbs from the king's table and cos we love the king then we must be servants...wow like i said must be fulfilling to have such knowledge (Nov 16, 2009 | post #8)
Samiu Vaipulu, Tonga's new Minister of Justice
and who says all the money spending 'tavale" with royal travels, nofo hotele tavale and weddings and coronation are from tax payers money?....as for the coronation, no one needed to tell us 'bout all the expenses for it, we were all happy and proud to have the best for the occasion, too bad not all people share that love and respect that one has for his/her king no matter how or wehre one stands with politics etc...but yes we know where our tax money's going thank you very much.if only ten people come back home looking for work in a year (which is not the correct data as i know it but you wouldn't care so..)it still means people are coming back home looking for work every year!!! help from abroad are always welcome and appreciated but media dishing out not so accurate info of what really goes on here sux. Tonga establishes closer diplomatic relation with Brunei
well not that i know much 'bout these diplomatic relations and all gotta say it's not the first time we've done it soooo what's the big deal it's gotta be beneficial for the government or they wouldn't have gone ahead with it, m sure it's more than just royal minds mingling eating honey and drinking milk, if we were governed by such idiots we would've been shooting each other now instead of me commenting freely and sharing ideas with you good people, so be positive give us a break and have a little faith....w (Nov 15, 2009 | post #4)
Tongan electoral commission proposes new govt system
okkk so much info to take in after the weekend but i'll try lol!..unlike u guys i don't have unlimited access to the net so bare with me cos im doing this on my break @work to relax haha..so here goes points well taken SURF but sorry to say you're not the first to ask, criticized or demand an answer for these questions but m afraid the only answer i got for u my fren is this word and all it stands for...MONARCHY..an d no matter how we hate or love it, it's there and unless change in whatever form it may come overpowers that, sorry mate, the nobles will still elect their reps, the king will still do as he wishes, different classes will still be a big deal and so on..so unless change or reform will be carry out in the most honest and transparent way for the benefit of all people then it'll just be another loose loose situation for us. I know some think the king's got way too much power and is unfair in his rule at times but so is corruption and bad leadership in the opposition...as for the CEDAW issue m proud to say for all to know that i agree and support the parliament not singing that, in this case it is my belief and experience (as a sister, a mother, a wife and a woman in the workforce)who've never been subjected to abuse or discrimination regarding this matter, and i have no wish to see same sex marriages or abortion openly approved here no offense to one and all..... as for the above statement, m afraid it may build up some strong and powerful tensions with these boys that causes the powerful urge for release that may lead to the total destruction of nuku'alofa hahahaha (Nov 15, 2009 | post #6)
Tonga king 'should relinquish powers'
