Calif. Supreme Court overturns gay-marriage ban
And I would call you "grossly misinformed." How much of The Bible have you ever read??? Please Note: The "B" in Bible is upper case. I know - the devil made you do it. (May 17, 2008 | post #3681)
Calif. Supreme Court overturns gay-marriage ban
It would seem that the California Supreme Court is in error here. The Court does not have the power to CHANGE laws at the expense of the State Constitution. The Court is limited to INTERPRETING the laws. I have said it before that marriage is not a civil matter. Holy matrimony is the sole duty of the church. Marriage and divorce should be taken out of the Court's hands. Gays are members of a lost generation and should be treated accordingly. Now I know why I left my home state years ago. All branches of the California government are SICK - lost in folly and sex, sex, sex. What a shame!!! What happened to the "Separation of Church and State?" (May 17, 2008 | post #3676)
How the world's oceans are running out of fish
Very well stated, Cash. I couldn't have stated it any better myself. I am probably much older than you, and I have lived through more changes in this world than any other generation. It is all part of the plan: Too many dollars, people, automobiles, houses, drugs, polluticrats, etc., etc., etc. A period of defilement and the worst is yet to come. May I please direct your attention to a few differences between Australia and America? You folks in Australia don't have millions of illegal Mexicans, blacks, and other races with criminal inclinations. It makes sense to say that America has more crime, more guns, and more criminals than Australia and many other countries. Here in New Mexico about 80% of us favor the right to bear weapons, and anyone with a clean record can get a permit for a concealed weapon. We also have a very high crime rate with a very high percentage of drugs, drugs, and more drugs - the Mexicans are really bad drugies and account for the most crimes. I feel much more comfortable with a defense weapon, than no weapon at all. (May 12, 2008 | post #19906)
The brain of an addicted smoker treats nicotine as if it is ess...
We all know that smoking doesn't do us any good. According to the latest report that I read just a few days ago, pot is very, very damaging. I never did touch the junk. Drinking is also very harmful for me, and I think we're all different when it comes to individual vices. I quit drinking first, after being drumk every day for about 12 years. I finally sold my nightclub and simply tapered off, one drink at a time, for about two or three weeks - it was easy for me. I smoked cigarettes for about 45 years and smoked a pipe for another 15 years. I found it very easy to quit the pipe. I think it was because I didn't inhale the pipe. I'm 80 now and I enjoy the clean air in New Mexico in a high altitude - no oxygen bottles, and I never even think about smoking and drinking. Also enjoy physical exercise and chasing women. If I can do it, anyone can do it. (May 12, 2008 | post #17)
Did Earth once have multiple moons?
Did you know that in Japan a pound of butter now costs over $100.00 for one pound? And you think you have problems. (May 6, 2008 | post #25)
Has anyone noticed that there is a similarity between Carter and Bill Richardson? Both are taking it upon themselves to act like ambassadors in foreign countries without the slightest bit of authority. They act like they are representing some big shot in America, possibly talking for the Geroge Bush; but George Bush never seems to notice them. Well, I think both Charter and Richardson are, in fact, trying to bring smaller countries into friendly dialog with America in an effort to support the "One World Order" that Bush and Bill Clinton have been talking about for several years. Did you know that Jimmy Carter is a very high ranking official in the Trilaterial Commission? Yep, that's right. He ranks right under David Rockefeller with four others that I will not mention. The One World Order and the Trilaterial Commission is one and the same giant. BEWARE OF THE GIANT!!! (Apr 26, 2008 | post #149)
Hearing for children at polygamist retreat grinds to a halt

Bush: U.S. economy not in recession, in slowdown
What a foolish remark. What is the difference between recession and slowdown? (Apr 22, 2008 | post #6)

Hearing for children at polygamist retreat grinds to a halt
By the way, I think that the Court has appointed at least one guardian "ad litem" for the kids, and it is a SHE, not a HE. Tee Hee! (Apr 19, 2008 | post #1188)
Hearing for children at polygamist retreat grinds to a halt
It would seem that there are many, too many, people in this forum that are jumping to hasty conclusions. Why not just be patient until the judge admits the case in court - I sure hope that the judge is not a woman - perish the thought. (Apr 19, 2008 | post #1174)
Hearing for children at polygamist retreat grinds to a halt
I would bet one-to-ten odds that every one of those children are much better cared for than 80% of the kids in our American homes growing up without a mother. Mom is out working, chasing around, and making more money to blow on herself. (Apr 19, 2008 | post #1167)
Bed Found In Polygamist Ranch Temple
I do wish that The Congress would take marriage and divorce out of the civil law and put it back in the hands of the American churches. We all know that if there is a way of screwing something up, Washington will surely find it. Right now, I don't see any ethics gushing out of our politics. After all, marriage is a ceremony of holy matrimony and has no place in our civil court. Let's see how the gays like that idea. (Apr 19, 2008 | post #4)
