It's called 'trimming the fat'. It is never a good thing when anybody gets that tap on the shoulder and told to report to HR, but when it comes to the Government, which is already bloated with excessive waist, the more that can be trimmed, the better. BAN THE STRIKES!!!! This initiative will certainly put a burr under the private teachers union saddle but you know what, there is absolutely NOTHING the teachers union can do in this matter. How does it feel to sit on the sidelines for a change and watch the demise of your union? To the teachers, this is a good thing. You won't have to *jump* at every union demand.
