TOM POWERS: Now announcing ... bad news for the Minnesota Wild
Wild will beat the colorado aves in 7 no more no less, forsberg is old, knee isn't holding up and who knows how long he'll last in the playoffs, Wild are young skilled and smart, yes the aves are big and have hot hands but look at there track history in the last 5 years not so good, they have what i like to the pre retirement home to the detriot red wing orginization so to all you WILD fan go on you guys desrved the North West Title, Much respect(by the way canucks fan saying this too) (Apr 11, 2008 | post #11)

I agree with you 100% but the team needs more of a faclift on the bench and in the office, i am a ottawa sens fan and JM is not a smart puppy JK i mean his intellignce is that of a three year old he makes bad decisions but still, don't think the panther (Apr 11, 2008 | post #54)

BY the way you have the panther and the lightning where are both, you have to chances for a team to be in the play offs and they both flopped, lighting who we assume is the better team really kicked the bucket and floria again have a dissipointing year, if flordia has a chance to stay aflot in the league they need to find somthing other then good D maby a scorer at vancouver has a good bunch of young kids in the farm system that are able to rotate in and out of the line up and have a provin affect (Apr 11, 2008 | post #48)

Ok this will be the biggest ? of them all for the canucks fans in the world, we all seem like we need to debate wheater or not nonis's future, but i want to call it like i see it, Nonis will be here another season but it will be make or break. Look at it this way Nonis is going to have alot of shoes to fill next season as well have the cap room to make that big splash we have been waiting for, for years, but its not like nonis is the first GM in canucks history to fall off, and you have to give this Guy some credit, he went out sent a catalist a unconsistant d man and Auld for the rights only the rights for Bobby Luo that opened a door for the canucks as far as cap for bobby a trade that may be considered one of the best in canucks history, lets not count him out just yet he is capable to pull it off, this may be a season that there will be a big change, another example of his smarts that we douted and we were all "hurt" was when he let Cooke outta of the cage and traded him to the caps for so called "crap" in pettinger who might a say produced all most as meny point as Cooke had scored in less games so before all the nasayers say that Nonis should go consider some facts we live in the age of the CAP he can only work with what he has but of course we are entitled to our own options about this so feel free to comment please (Apr 11, 2008 | post #1)

Panthers need a change, they go from iron mike, to JAcky jock is there a in between, the only way the panthers will ever contend for a play off spot will be if well they weren't in flordia, COME TO CANADA and Bring your friends, sorry tired of seeing team in citys that don't care, AKA Nashville.........Columbus......... Ok you like me are a cancuks fan, its december the team is in the fight for top spot in Northwest, team still heathy as can be, but then they go off and drop down the standings. Have you asked yourself the what ifs? like what if Beksa didn't get cut, would are defence have been better, what if morrison hadn't gotten the wrist surgery and was fine to play, would he have scored 30 goals, what if we didn't have a rotating list of rookies, would we have done any better in the standings, well lets look at it, at the start of the season morrison had the states to finish in second in team score behind the great hank, which could have resulted in 10 more wins then they had, if beksa was in there would have been 20% more blocked shots saving as meny goals, the last what if would be, what if Bobby Luos wife was in vancouer, he wouldn't have been more worried about the birth of his child at the end of the season, which could had resulted in better goaltending, i know these are just what ifs but like in all years that we as canuck fans sit and watch we always ponder these thoughts, lets go back to 94' what if it was Bobby luo insted of captin kirt would they have won the cup that year? What if it wasn't Messier that we signed for 6 million and it was someone better on the trade block that year(hum) Gretzky would we be complaning then???What if we got the Keene of this year back when he was coach would bure be staying??? This might just be food for thought but what if you didn't live in vancouver would you still be a canucks fan??? pounder respond have fun and remebber vancouver we were all once millionaires (Apr 11, 2008 | post #1)
