I had to look them up. At 40 bucks a box they are to steep for..."target practice" I LOVE their description though. lol "CORŽBON's Bonded Core Soft Points are designed to retain their weight and stay together while crushing through heavy bone and tissue in large game. CORŽBON's Penetrator and Hard Cast loads are designed for very large, tough-skinned and heavy-boned animals. The Penetrator loads use a heavy, full jacket with a hard linotype core. The Hard Cast load is made from a hard linotype lead with a proven LBT nose design. These two loads cause a through-and-throug h hole, breaking even the heaviest bones."  (Yesterday | post #15)

I disagree (of course) This guy is in the right place. I mean after all, how many bites will he get by just saying "car for sale" lol the make and model would be a nice addition.  (Yesterday | post #12)

I've thought about trying that, but figured it would wind up costing more in the end. Thanks, next time I'll give that a shot.  (Yesterday | post #11)

Pit bulls ' the dangerous canine'

ah I see, well if you look, the argument was going LONG before i ever entered into it. In fact, it was watching this argument that caused me to sign up. As far as the rest, you sound like "them" they need to quit ASSUMING they know more about dogs than I do, so far they sure haven't proved it.  (Saturday | post #256)

nah. lol They have pretty much stuck with the pattern they established with you, so it isn't like I didn't see this coming. lol I assume they intend to continue until I quit, not sure what that accomplished since I've already won. lol  (Saturday Nov 21 | post #254)

seems to me that YOUR side is the one that claims to know it all. Now if what you just said means "pit bulls are so agressive, don't take the chance with tug of war, then I'll by it. If not stfu.  (Friday Nov 20 | post #242)

direct to the point excerpts Tug-of-war is one of the oldest games played by man - and canine. But when you and Rover are engaging in this age-old battle of strength, are you sending him the wrong message? "Tug of war, for some reason, has gotten a bad rap," says Best Friends professional trainer Lisa Judge (North Plainfield, NJ). "When played correctly, by your rules, tug-of-war is actually a natural outlet for energy and exercise, and promotes real bonding between you and your dog." What's more, Judge added, some dogs have a very high "play drive," and a game of tug-of-war can be used as a reward. another Contrary to conventional wisdom in some dog training circles, tug is a great game to play with most dogs - as long as you and your canine pal play by the rules. Lots of my clients have dogs with aggressive, reactive, and other stress-related behaviors. One of the best ways to help reduce stress is to increase exercise. Tug is great exercise. another Many dogs love to play tug of war - it is a healthy display of their predatory nature. There has been some debate over tug of war and dogs. Some feel the game causes aggressive behavior and dominance. However, the tug of war is actually mental and physical exercise for your dog. It is also a great way to reinforce the human-canine bond. and one more, just for kicks Played with rules, tug-of-war is a tremendous predatory energy burner and good exercise for both dog and owner. It serves as a barometer of the kind of control you have over the dog, most importantly over his jaws. The game doesn't make the dog a predator: he already is one. The game is an outlet. It’s intense, increases dog focus and confidence and plugs into something very deep inside them. The big payoff is in lowered incidence of behavior problems due to understimulation and a potent motivator for snappy obedience. There is a maxim in training: control the games, control the dog. It's also extremely efficient in terms of space and time requirements.  (Thursday Nov 19 | post #240)
