It's the Darwin crowd that lacks the facts in evolution debate
Scan through a bit more and it gets worse. I know there is no real chance of getting through to Marksman and I know he will repeat the same thing over and over and over. The challenge is to try to get through by refining your arguments by exploring points more deeply to continue to increase your own understanding. So, with extreme irony noted, Marksman helps me to understand science, logic, religion etc. better because I am always learning to refine my answers. He may be the same blockhead yesterday, today and tomorrow, but he has helped many to enhance their understanding of science! He probably has done more to expand peoples knowledge of evolution than anyone else around! (2 hrs ago | post #20258)

This seem obvious to everyone except Marksman. He has to continue to rationalize or the whole house of cards will fall. Another nice post, tb (2 hrs ago | post #20257)

A variation of "have you stopped beating your wife". If they do no support your definition of Christian you can berate them. If they do support your definition of Christian you tell them they have to believe everything else you do. You are blind to your own dishonesty. (2 hrs ago | post #20256)

You don't seem as stupid when you ignore posts as when you respond in such a way that demonstrates you have no rational response. (2 hrs ago | post #20254)

Words for you to live by. Daily you call god stupid for creating evolution. What is wrong with you Clay? (2 hrs ago | post #20253)

You are dim. The cancer supports the cancer. It is the survival of the organism in spite of the cancer that keeps the cancer genes developing. This is not "micro" (sic) unless you are expanding the term (again). Genetic mutations are a fact. That some of them are beneficial is a fact. Your reputation as a cherry picker is untarnished, even when you pick a bad batch of cherries. (2 hrs ago | post #20252)

Does projection make you feel better? It is a shallow and desperate defense mechanism. (3 hrs ago | post #20251)

If god wanted to tell us his plans he could just tell us his plans. Why the subterfuge and intrigueYou sure about that? The Gospels aren't sure. Scholars aren't sure. You can find thousands of pages arguing Wed., Th. or Friday. In terms of historical accuracy Mark is generally believed to be the best, followed by Matt. & Luke in a tie for second and John way back in last place. But even Mark has its problems: http://en.wikipedi a.org/wiki/Gospel_ of_Mark#Mark_and_t he_Synoptic_Proble m Not the least of which is, as with most of the NT, we simply do not have a clue as to who wrote it or exactly whyI have April 6th based on the description in the birth narratives. Others say March 25th. Scholars do not agree on the date of his birth or death and I doubt its importance. The Sept. date is just numerology (a form of divination). The symbolic use of certain numbers is common in the bible but divination is prohibited. Irony is that devout Jews at this time did not keep track of birthdays. But this was a well Hellenized region his may have been. The Bible does not find it important enough to tell us, so this is a pretty good tempest in a teapot. I do notice that your first post in a couple of days completely ignores all the arguments made against you and starts a new line of nonsense. (3 hrs ago | post #20250)

I have read Prevention before and I don't remember it being any worse than any other sales literature (Beer adds, Jehovah's witness tracts, the Bible, etc.) In spite of what beer ads suggest it is not what brand of beer that helps you get laid, it is the number of beers your date consumes that helps. If anyone has not seen the movie "Crazy People" I cannot recommend it to highly. (5 hrs ago | post #35833)

Jimmy Neutron ROCKS! Sponge Bob is cut very much after the mold of Buggs Bunny. While I prefer the original, Bob has his moments. (Yesterday | post #35773)

Yes, quite so. That is not what I meant, but I don't remember what it was that I meant, so I concede the point rather than dig through the posts or make something else up. My bad. SorryBut the formula for power implies a co-relationship of voltage and current. In E=MC^2 the C^2 is a constant (well, more or less). So this shows a direct relationship between E and M. If you know either one of these you can quickly calculate the other. In P=V*I you need to know two values to determine the third. So there is not the direct 1-1 correspondence we see with mass and energy. (Yesterday | post #35772)
