Headlines in the Bellefontaine Examiner
I'm not seeing how you could call it unfair reporting or anything. To me, they reported a complaint that someone had against an agency, and also reported on a representitive of that agency responding to the complaint. They reported both sides of the story. At least it wasnt buried on page 3 or something. (Monday Nov 2 | post #13)
The part that sounds just a tad fishy to me is that the EMT that responded could not answer to whether or not she or her parter checked vitals or not with a definte answer. I'm no EMT, but I imagine that if I had seen that scene play out in front of me...I would be replaying it in my head for weeks and weeks and would know exactly what had happened. Ohio Norhtern University has a nice chapel for the ceremony and allows for use of their ballroom for your reception. They also do the catering there too I believe. The ballroom was nice and makes for a classy reception. Was reasonably priced when we used it. (Oct 24, 2009 | post #25)
Its kind of funny that she sunk all that money into fixing that place up and the guy across the street selling coffee out of a trailer is still there. Nothing against Elijahs..like them and glad to see they are doing well...just strikes me as funny! (Sep 2, 2009 | post #9)
What did you think of the Cruise-In?
What did anyone think who went? I live in the Whispering Pines area and could still hear burnouts and revving engines at 11pm when I took the dogs out. Did the BPD issue any noise citations or did they just ignore downtown for the night and hide out at their favorite gas stations? (Aug 9, 2009 | post #1)
Sit on your front porch with a paintball gun and pelt those SOBs when they come by. That will get the police's attention. Maybe they will actually enforce their own cities noise ordinance. (Jul 26, 2009 | post #5)
The BPD is only a speed enforcement group. If you havent noticed they arent very proactive, they only react to crime If you really want to take control of the crime in your area, drink about 10 red bulls, watch Gran Torino, and take the ol louisville slugger to their punk asses. why didnt you knock the teeth out of her head and give her a dental bill to worry about? (Jul 26, 2009 | post #5)
Do You Tip your pizza delivery guy?
I normally tip a delivery guy. For a pizza delievery person I expect them not to come barrelling into my driveway like they are running moonshine (tearing up my driveway), when then ring more doorbell they should look respectable (not wearing a uniform that is untucked and looks like it has been slept in for 3 days) and they should have a huge ass smile on their face so I feel good about giving them my money. I am one of those jerks that checks their stuff before handing over the money...and guess what...if I dont like what I see you are making 2 trips out to my place without a tip! For the crew that is getting paid out the wazoo to pave 33 to fix the bridges down by mad river mtn so those of us that have to travel that section every day don't need an alignment when they are done. Don't waste your time telling me I need to slow down either, I take these bridges quite slow and still feel like I tearing the sh*t out of my car! (Jul 19, 2009 | post #1)
