How many people in Alabama are racist?

Your grammar suggests that you are grossly uneducated. It would so appear that you may suffer from illiteracy as well. Learn to read and write and then you may have some sort of grounds to downgrade others... some suggested literature would be "Cat in a Hat," "Three Little Pigs," and maybe "Hansel and Gretel."  (Jan 2, 2012 | post #139)

Mobile area man indicted in dog dragging death

People will torture animals and it is a part of some sick and perverse behavioral condition where one feels empowered by doing so. Let me share a story and if you don't want to hear it, oh well... I was at a bar/grill one fine evening and was out doors with some friends and co-workers. There was also some of the biker crowd there that night as well. some guy is walking his dog down the sidewalk on the other side of the street jerking the dog around like a rag doll. The dog was whimpering each time the guy jerked him around. The guy would pull the dog 15 feet or so while the dog was resisting t least half that distance. Then, the guy would stop and slap the dog across the face a few times. I then hear one of the biker guys speak out to the guy walking his dog, "hey, if you do that one more time, I am gonna beat your a**." The guy walking the dog looked in the direction to where the comment came from and continued to abuse the animal. So, the guy who yelled the comment walked over to the man and started slapping him around and asking him "how do you like it?" not a fan of violence of any sort but there are many times that it is the best remedy.  (Dec 29, 2011 | post #20)

Tired of noisy stereos and exhausts Downtown

In downtown Charlotte, NC, there are 2 nicely dressed officers per block and there are many blocks. Charlotte is a big metropolis area and it is one of the few metro areas that is pristine with cleanliness. You don't see cigarette butts, fast food remnants, and drinking containers of all the likes to commonly on the streets. It is an extremely clean city that you can walk down the streets at all hours and have a sense of safety. Mobile is certainly not a metropolis but DEFINITELY needs more security and up keep. The night life is mediocre at best and really not worth the expense of jeopardizing personal security.  (Dec 29, 2011 | post #24)

Gay Marriage - Mobile, AL

<1. Children hunger for their biological parents. 2. Children need fathers. 3. Children need mothers. 4. Evidence on parenting by same-sex couples is inadequate. 5. Evidence suggests children raised by homosexuals are more likely to experience gender and sexual disorders. 6. Same-sex "marriage " would undercut the norm of sexual fidelity within marriage. 7. Same-sex "marriage " would further isolate marriage from its procreative purpose. 8. Same-sex "marriage " would further diminish the expectation of paternal commitment. 9. Marriages thrive when spouses specialize in gender-typical roles. 10. Women and marriage domesticate men. Men who are married earn more, work harder, drink less, live longer, spend more time attending religious services, and are more sexually faithful. They also see their testosterone levels drop, especially when they have children in the home. If the distinctive sexual patterns of "committed " gay couples are any indication (see above), it is unlikely that homosexual marriage would domesticate men in the way that heterosexual marriage does. It is also extremely unlikely that the biological effects of heterosexual marriage on men would also be found in homosexual marriage. Thus, gay activists who argue that same-sex civil marriage will domesticate gay men are, in all likelihood, clinging to a foolish hope. This foolish hope does not justify yet another effort to meddle with marriage.> This is exactly right...  (Dec 27, 2011 | post #15)

Kind of trivial isn't it? Texas played Oklahoma and has valuable input for offesive/defensive strategies and it is simply a measure of sharing stategy. I beleive that there is a lot of coaches that meet during the summer months. Roll Tide!  (Jan 4, 2010 | post #2)

It is probably your past employer or someone that you do not like for whatever reason. I am only replying to this because I am laughing at your ignorance, hard! You name yourself "Mafia Woman" because you have an insecurity and want to appear tough intimidating because that is all you have going for you... I am betting you have the brain mass of a typical silverback gorilla and that is a compliment to you, trust me... I would also at least give the English language a chance and learn how to speak as well as use proper grammar! I can only imagine what you look like and where you are going in life! Have fun at your Pizza Hut type jobs throughout your career... Scrub! Hope that answers your question !  (Dec 20, 2009 | post #2)

So “you” had no rights at all at some point in your life? Has there been any rights that you personally have been denied? I am a Caucasian and I have been able to have my rights as a law-abiding citizen of America. However, my ancestors were raped, murdered, starved, beaten, and robbed in my ancestral homelands and there was no reparations delivered to my people. Not then and certainly not now! Its all over with and I am sorry that you had to deal with whatever it was you had to deal with but we “all” come from a past history of violence repression of some form. When the US was initially discovered, if one was not a Puritan, then more than likely you were considered evil and burned alive… Moreover, there was a reason why people fled England to get here and I will leave you with that.  (Dec 20, 2009 | post #5696)

Give the guy a fair hearing! If he is guilty of thug like behavior, then prosecute him to the highest degree permissible... Maybe he was defending himself, maybe he was attacked from behind, maybe he is innocent, maybe! If the guy is innocent, then he should be awarded by the victim! However, if this guy is guilty of a crime as mentioned, then I say leave him with two things that he will never have again. Watch the movie Shawshank Redemption and you will take my meaning!  (Dec 19, 2009 | post #2)

Gay Marriage Poised for Approval in D.C.

I hear you and "I feel the same way!" However, me and you are not the majority... The people are the majority and the people are represented by this elected government that we have... Therefore, the approach that you are taking is baby steps to the deluge of America. "Baby steps?" ...laughing at myself on that one! We have already taken giant leaps but I intend to make a stand as a domesticaed American until the end my friend!  (Dec 19, 2009 | post #263)
