I'd ask for details, but I think you'd scare everyone away :-D  (2 hrs ago | post #286)

Of course, I could give you the liberal reply....if you don't like the US system "leave". If you want to see the results of other countries attempts at legalization of drugs, go here: http://www.druglib rary.org/schaffer/ DEBATE/myths/myths 4.htm The "medical marijuana" experiment in California is a joke. Pretty much anyone can go into a medicinal marijuana clinic and buy the stuff. Getting a prescription is VERY easy. And what happens to that easy buy of marijuana? Addicts to other drugs go in and buy it and then sell it on the street to make money to supply their addictions. Wonderful. We really want that going on all over the country. BTW...your fixation on Blackwater is a bit bizarre. If you want to join up, I will be happy to get you in touch with the right people. But you will NOT be able to take your precious dope with you. And they aren't real keen on hairheads or those that look like a caveman. At least, not until you get out in the field where things aren't as strict.  (2 hrs ago | post #155)

Geez you are so twisted in the head it's not funny. Instead of making all these sillyass excuses, organize and LEGALIZE. All this bitching and history lessons accomplishes ZERO. Stop living in the past...if what you say is even true. Sounds liek a made-up story from someone in High Times. Try and come down from your perpetual spaced out trip and do something in the real world. You spend more time making up excuses for NBOT legalizing it, than you do actually getting your ass out in the field and DOIND SOMETHING.  (17 hrs ago | post #150)

Oh brother! Another squawking liberal griping about big business, big oil and big government. Cripes don't you people ever get tired of harping over the same crapola? It's worn so thin nobody is buying it any more. Probably probably probably. You probably voted for that Commie scumbag Obama and are a flag-burning lefty. Probably. Sheesh. I don't need to jump off a bridge to know I will die when I hit the ground. I've tried pot and it's not for me. I like to be in control of my faculties at ALl times. I don't need to escape reality. I enjoy all kinds of music without any artificial enhancements. Let's cut through the bullcrap and get this out in the open. This whole "use marijuana for medical purposes" is just a thinly veiled scam to legalize it. So if you want to leagalize it, go through the proper channels and DO IT. Get the signatures and get the votes. Pissing and moaning on a forum is NOT going to get it legalized. Using some lameass excuse that big oil and big business and all these other "bigs" won't allow it is just ridiculous.  (20 hrs ago | post #147)

Just because lots of people BREAK THE LAW, doesn't meant the law should be ignored. Change the law or STFU and obey it.  (Yesterday | post #142)

Geez...never seen so many redneck-haters as on this forum. Of course, I've also never seen so many liberal elitists either :-)  (Friday | post #284)

So alcohol and cigarettes are terrible and evil and nasty, but pot is wonderful and beneficial and great. Just one problem....booze and cigarettes are LEGAL. Pot isn't and probably won't ever be, under Commisar Obama or anyone else. We have enough problems with booze and cigarettes without having spaced out weirdos cruising around with bad depth perception and oblivious to everything going on around them except the blaring boombox. Next you goofballs will be saying it makes you more alert and awake.  (Friday | post #137)

From the links you provided: "Firstly, although support for legalization has grown, it remains the minority position. Secondly, although there has been a long, slow-moving upward trend in favor of legalization since roughly 1992, there is no guarantee that public sentiment will continue to move in that direction: support for legalization had grown to about 30 percent in the mid 1970s before dropping significantly during the Just Say No years of the 1980s."  (Friday | post #136)

You have statistics provided by an anti-punishment organization. Teey are suspect at the very least. The people of Singapore seem to be quite happy with the way things are over there. It's only OUTSIDE ELEMENTS that are pissing and moaning about drug dealers and users getting what they deserve. Move rthere. Typical liberal response. That's all you peiople know. Be a libewral or move. Sorry, that AIN'T gonna happen. The only "moving" that is gonna happen is to get that idiot and his Commie cronies OUT of the White House. The days of touchy-feely are OVER. BURN THE GRASS AND CANE THEIR ASS is the new motto.  (Friday | post #128)

Geez....are you sure you live in New Mexico or even the real world? Want to know why people DON'T stool pidgeon on others....REPRISALS. That seems to be a proud New Mexican tradition. Criminals regularly walk because nobody wants to risk a visit in the middle of the night from some dirtbag and his gang bent on revenge.  (Thursday | post #281)

LOL...the liberal group amnesty international. THey'd have every criminal released if they had their way. Again...Singapore HAS NO DRUG PROBLEM. Drug usrs and dealers get their neck stretched. Problem solved. And you conveniently left out "The public generally supports Singapore's tough laws -- including the death penalty, bans on pornography and curbs on political dissent -- as part of a social contract that in return has delivered years of economic prosperity." plus: "Cells are sparse, furnished only with a toilet and a mat but no bedding. Inmates are allowed the use of a bucket for washing. It is believed they are not allowed to go outside for fresh air or exercise," it said. Outstanding. At least jail is JAIL and not a health spa where criminals gain weight and are more muscular than the guards. "Cane 'em or hang em"....works for me :-)  (Thursday | post #125)

Ruben Navarrette: Hotel workers fired for speaking Spanish in N...

Thanks for those links Dave. I absolutelty HATE when outside groups with their own agenda get involved in things like this. I notice that the owner of the hotel has dropped the rather ridiculous request that the employees change their names. I see tat as progress in the right direction. But reading the list of everything else he asks for, none of it seems unreasonable to me.  (Thursday | post #326)

You're lucky to live where they have all that. ALL my stuff is registered :-( Plus I prefer to buy new instead of used.  (Thursday Dec 3 | post #279)
