2008 Presidential Election

Former Democratic leader switches to Obama

Do not kid yourself. This has-been has made a back room deal with the Obama campaign. There is no other reason for this- he is NOT going to sway a single hoosier vote with his cheap switch. He is nobody, and soon to be less!  (May 3, 2008 | post #153)

2008 Presidential Election

Former Democratic leader switches to Obama

Hillary is now LEADING in the polls for likely nominee. WHERE is the media coverage??? Obama is TOAST! Mr Andrew has been purchased by the obama campaign because they realize they are going to lose without big help. The media needs to report what the PEOPLE really want instead of what THEY want. Watch them make a HUGE deal if Obama wins the 4 Guam delegates.  (May 3, 2008 | post #151)

Obama 'outraged' by Wright's remarks

She is paying a price. After YEARS of being the number one talk show, she has lost that title to Ellen. Poetic justice, I think.  (Apr 30, 2008 | post #198)

2008 Presidential Election

Obama 'outraged' by Wright's remarks

Except you don't get to vote because your man Obama would not agree to anything for fear of losing...  (Apr 30, 2008 | post #195)

2008 Presidential Election

Obama 'outraged' by Wright's remarks

Wow, good crack you are on eh? You can't blame Hillary for Obama's associations for the past 20 years, nice try though. Just like a good Obamaniac... always point fingers everywhere but to your messiah. In your eyes, he can do no wrong. But the rest of the country is not so blind.  (Apr 29, 2008 | post #70)

2008 Presidential Election

Obama 'outraged' by Wright's remarks

Go Figure... Obama denounces him now after saying what? But refused to with the real incendiary comments he made during his sermons. He is such a panderer. He could no more disown Wright than he could the black community?... watch out black community. This guy will do or say anything for a vote. I am sure glad I am in Indiana and get to vote against him.  (Apr 29, 2008 | post #68)

Howard Dean: Obama Or Clinton Must Drop Out In June

DEAN needs to step down. What a spineless bloke.  (Apr 29, 2008 | post #107)

2008 Presidential Election

Obama 'outraged' by Wright's remarks

I have been shocked it has taken Americans so long to see through this charismatic politician. I just hope it is not too late. This guy says whatever scores him points. He is dangerous and I believe there is much more to come out. I wish the kool aid would dilute once and for all. He is not president material. Riots or not.  (Apr 29, 2008 | post #23)

Indy post office to be renamed for late Rep. Julia Carson

Why would it piss anyone off? Julia Carson spent her life SERVING the public. I loved Julia. She was a fighter for the underdog, and spoke out even when it was not popular to do so. She risked her political future to speak the truth. I wish there were other politicians like her. Indiana suffered a great loss when we lost Rep. Carson.  (Apr 23, 2008 | post #5)

Poll: Obama would be tougher candidate against McCain

That is a theory, that we all share "african roots", and not a strong one. And humans could have evolved from the super continent Pangaea. Or China. The books are still very much open on this debate.  (Apr 3, 2008 | post #166)

Poll: Obama would be tougher candidate against McCain

Do you even know where obama stands on the issue of immigration! HA! From his website:The time to fix our broken immigration system is now… We need stronger enforcement on the border and at the workplace… But for reform to work, we also must respond to what pulls people to America… Where we can reunite families, we should. Where we can bring in more foreign-born workers with the skills our economy needs, we should” — Barack Obama, Statement on U.S. Senate Floor, May 23, 2007 Where we can bring in MORE!!!  (Apr 3, 2008 | post #157)

Poll: Obama would be tougher candidate against McCain

This is exactly why he pulled his name off the Michigan ballot in the first place, he knew he was going to lose. Of course he knew Fl and MI would HAVE to be seated. It shocks me, the prominent Dems who have endorsed him. I do not feel like I am that stupid... but I keep asking myself what am I missing? I thought the guy was ok at first, a great speaker... but after months of listening to hot air, lies, and seeing his weak nature, I just don't get it. The media is SO pro Obama it makes me ill. About the only thing I can watch anymore is Lou Dobbs, he doesn't take sides and knows there is a big bias against Hillary. If the primary season started today, and people knew today what they did not know when they blindly cast their ballots, he would be out before Edwards. And sadly, the super delegates still support the misinformed votes. This is scary business, because he has a real good shot at winning it all. I am for Hillary. If she is not the nominee, I honestly do not know what I will do. I just do not trust this man and I think there is so much more to come out.  (Apr 3, 2008 | post #147)

Poll: Obama would be tougher candidate against McCain

I am pretty sure Al Gore won his states primary, just not in the general. In a poll last week, Republicans overwhelmingingly preferred Hillary drop out to Obama, while with Dems it was an even split. That tells you who republicans think they can beat. Yes, this Rev Wright thing, among other issues, will be front and center in the general if he gets the nomination. Obama can't win  (Apr 3, 2008 | post #79)

Obama Backers Attack Clinton for Exaggerating Dangers of Bosnia...

I know this is a difficult concept for you to grasp, but Hillary and Bill are 2 individual people. She had reservations about NAFTA and spoke out about it at the time, but what could she do? Publicly come out against her husband, the president? At least she is not running to Canada saying, no worries, just pandering again.  (Mar 27, 2008 | post #668)
