Congradulations to Aubrey Huff for being named AL Player of the Week. Like to see him playing the field a little more. Millar can't field and Mora can't hit. Yeah i know I saw the PH HR by Mora Sunday. (Jul 7, 2008 | post #4)
Bush signs $162B war spending bill
Get ready America, unemployment just went higher. When is this government ever going to help it's own people? (Jul 4, 2008 | post #13)
Report: Alex Rodriguez has split from wife
Another slow news day? Nobody cares that these money hungry pigs are into splitsville. A-Rod is making 25+ million a year and probably half of that will go to his soon to be ex with more going to the child support. Nobody cares about Madonna either. She's worth almost a billion and how much will Guy get? Now maybe she will stop trying adopt every kid in the world. (Jul 3, 2008 | post #13)
Exam reveals Albers has torn labrum
That's a shame. Matt Albers did a great job this year out of the bullpen and stepped up when a starter was needed. He is better off having the surgery so he can get healthy. If he rehabs it, then it is no guarentee he will ever be 100%. I have to agree with Mr. Baseball, if the starters don't start pitching much deeper into the game then the bullpen will be getting more over worked. The only way the starters can do that is by throwing more strikes. Too many 3-2 counts The O's definately need to get a SS very soon. Cintron's defense is bad and now he is slumping. On Fahey's single, he didn't hustle to to first base. Once he hit the bag he decided to go to second base and got thrown out easily. (Jun 27, 2008 | post #9)
Wieters earns promotion to Bowie
Hold it guys! Amber Theoharis reported during today's game that Wieters HAS NOT been called up yet. They are only in the thinking mode. It might not happen today but in the near future he will more than likely be promoted to Bowie. It is NOT official yet. (Jun 26, 2008 | post #14)
All the pitchers are either hurt, overused, or sick. I hope F-Cab can throw a few innings. He is coming back from elbow surgery. Don't know how effective he will be. (Jun 26, 2008 | post #3)
That leaves Cormier as the long man tonight. (Jun 25, 2008 | post #3)
Team tells Sherrill to take a deserved rest
Sherrill is not Superman. I know he wants to pitch and he wants to win. I admire him for wanting to pitch but he has to rest every now and then or his arm is going to feel like it will fall off. The last thing he needs is to be on DL with Chris Ray and Danys Baez and the same kind of injury. (Jun 21, 2008 | post #1)
Blue Jays fire manager Gibbons, hire Gaston
Does that mean we can start the chant again? Cito sux! (Jun 20, 2008 | post #5)
I have my doubts about Bynum and Cintron's defense. Cintron no doubt is the better hitter. Both are better suited for a utility role. Trembley better watch how he uses Sherrill. He is going to kill him by the time the All Star break gets here. If should have never been used tonight. (Jun 19, 2008 | post #2)
Some gas stations say 'no more' to credit card fees
If the gas stations refuse to honor credit cards, does this mean that the price of gas will drop? (Jun 19, 2008 | post #2)
Girl born to Jamie Lynn Spears
The only reason this was reported because Jamie Lynn is a celebrity and the sister of Britney. I still don't care. Now I wonder if Jamie can be a better mother than Britney or just as big a wuss as Britney. (Jun 19, 2008 | post #5)
Why are you even replying that has nothing to do with you. Go look in the mirror if ya wants to see something sad. (Jun 18, 2008 | post #16)
Maybe the Mets oughta do what the Orioles started and that is rebuild. But being in New York, they expect to win every year. The payroll is too high and they have a lot of injuries too. I can't see how they figure it is a racial deal. Big deal Willie Randolph is black, so what. Omar Minaya is spanish, so what. So how can they say it is racial. Willie was a good player for the Yankees but not a good fit as manager on a star studded team. He will rebound and will manage another team before long. Maybe Seattle might consider him since the GM was let go. Whoever is the next GM might consider him as manager. We'll wait and see how it all plays out. (Jun 17, 2008 | post #9)
Screw the FAA. All they want is more money. The Orioles should go where there is decent training facility. Ft. Lauderdale is so worn down that it does need to be replace. And Roch, PLEASE don't mention that song again. It makes me want to puke. (Jun 14, 2008 | post #2)
