Would you drive a hybrid car?

Oh one more thing as well, I am able to tow a one ton camper with this truck as well, I have done so dispite the shape the truch happens to be in currently, I decided to take it off the road for a refit just to be safe.  (Jun 14, 2008 | post #224)

Also to mention the last owner took it downsouth and ran it all over the Louisianna swamplands, yes your right about the metal, but only from what ever ate thru the steel, and understand this is not pot metal but stainless steel in fact, I have to find a replacement body (k10 I think)once I do that it will be 100% to my specs. What you've mentioned sounds like a pickup truck in my book, this truck is larger and heavyer then what you believe I have.  (Jun 14, 2008 | post #223)

Sorry but you are misinformed regarding the truck in question it is a 2000 lbs vehicle, or one ton, and be assured it runs like a tank, I've had the vehicle for roughly a decade or more, I put a 350 short block in it as well, but all n all it is defined as a full size chevy, check the specs if you can ..  (Jun 14, 2008 | post #222)

So wheither it be large or small this modification is applicable to all forms of vehicles worthy of the road.  (Jun 5, 2008 | post #220)

Oh I must also remind you that after the modification has been done, the vehicle in question will have Zero emmissions as well, keep that in mind. What it takes to not just do this but to understand it, one is required to apply unconventional wisdom to an conventional problem, one will find that one can go beyond the skies the limit thinking.  (Jun 5, 2008 | post #219)

You hit it right on the nose, what I am interested in doing in fact is very easy once the basic physics has been applied, for you to come to your conclusion is a invalid claim considering I don't plan to share exactly what it is that I am going to be doing, but getting back to my point again, size doesn't matter once this process I've discovered is done, all n all it leads to extremely excellent distances more then what a combustion engine can produce, and againe it doesn't change physics as you chose to mention in your response. Example enabling a suv size vehicle to travel from NYS to California and to return to the point of departure without any form of combustion. Included in the process is high performance capacities if needed. Oh don't get me wrong, as Murphy's law states anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, that is the only downside, if the configuration encounters any fatal failure then the trip will be disrupted, but once the configuration is restored it will continue in the same way it started. But if all goes well without such a failure the round trip with be a success. As I said, it's the system of what type of engine that is being used that's the key to resolve the problem.  (Jun 5, 2008 | post #217)

The self-healing power of writing on the internet

As well I recently discovered I have the ability to produce mass volumes of documentation, since spending a considerable amount of time chatting, ( I actually did this for day on end without much sleep ) I know that sounds extreme but one thing it has done is enable to type quick decently, not sure how many words I type a minute but I can say I can keep going and going to the point of being able to express myself effectively. And for one thing it make me happy, when someone sees what I have expressed and respond to it, that makes me feel very fortunate, as we all know life sometimes can be a very lonely issue, oh don't get me wrong I have friends quite a bit, but to have friends online, some that I have known as internet members for decades, now that is special and very enjoyable as well. And again for me that is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being online. After all it's healthy and can be lots of fun !!! I for one am very glad it's accessible for everyone.  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #11)

The self-healing power of writing on the internet

I have been online via the net for close to 20+ yrs since the early days of it's configuration, and I have to say being able to express my views has helped me in many ways that even surprised myself. I found that out after becoming hooked into chatting, then eventually I found myself taking steps to improve my spelling, writting form, ( which I have to say breaks all the rules of standard writing ) and most importantly being able to share with my fellow members of the internet community. Then Blogging pops in to the sence, at first I felt that it was a step back considering chatting online is based on real time activites, instantanious in fact and I still feel to this day nothing can compare to that fact. But then I got into blogging recently in fact at this forum, I have had very healthy debates covering very interesting issues, I found I can reach participants just a well, and have learned to respect the practice of blogging.  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #10)

to make it simple duk, size doesn't matter once the right modification is done, when it come to mileage would size make any difference when it come to the potential of being able to travel vast distances without any form of combustion concepts, consider that ideal as an alternative.  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #213)

I think you should take a look at the response I gave to the same remarks your responding too. You see it's not the size that is going to change it's the matter of the combustion concepts that apply to land vehicles that is due to the great change your talking about.  (May 31, 2008 | post #212)

you see it is my view that from a scale of 0 to 100 by doing this I have the good chance of being able to travel gas free with zero emmissions by doing such a modification on this ole suv. As well there is one more interesting point I am carefully sharing with you as well, you see I have designed a unique power source configuration that may achieve a interesting result, possibly enabling this vehicle to travel vast distances to a near unlimited mileage range if all works as I predict, an electric based power source. As well I have put a secondary design for another type of power source that can be used for the same purpose but have concerns about wheither or not it will prove to be as good as the first but that is another story that will have to wait. So that's why I've responded to your input and to let you know as a suv owner and fan. Lets hope for our sake my ideal works as planned I figure I have an 88.973 chance of success to pull this off. Peace from the darkone ..  (May 31, 2008 | post #211)

Would you drive a hybrid car?

I agree with your point about the safety advanages of having a full size suv, I personal have a much older model (1980 chevy blazer), this truck rides like a tank, it's very solid though I have to admit I do have a restoration task to improve it's shape, not meaning to sound like I own the road, but when people see this truck they tend to give me space to pass them it's a big truck. Gas is a nightmare and for me I know there will be trying times to full that tank, but let me say this, I have a ideal that one day may result in my taking another step that I can say was the most enjoyable project I have ever done with a vehicle, I had to change the engine some yrs back, yes it was hard and somewhat risky but I completed that task to my surprise, (considering all I have is a basic understanding about doing such a thing) anyway I plan to remove the last engine that I worked so hard to put in to the vehicle and replace it with a type of engine that has the same capabilities of the current engine I put in (350 short block), I'm sure your asking " why would I care that this individule is going to do this ", well it is my hope that I can do this because its going to be an all electric engine with the same power as the gas engine I installed, (15 hrs of hell at that during the peck of the winter season, which by the way for some strange reason I enjoyed)  (May 31, 2008 | post #210)
