NFL player giving pitbulls away

No, they were gone before I made the circle. I couldn't get the tag and they looked like they could carry weapons as many 18-20 year old do in this city where you can carry weapons to public parks. I thought they came up behind me for a minute but it wasn't them. the second you look at your phone young thugs know.they justlooked so young like they could be nice boys if they wanted to be. they were only alittle older than Daniel.I don't know why dogs came into bling I don't. But an animal lover wouldn'thave said oh "no, I don't believe in jail"and drive off. I feel like I should have gotten the puppies myself but they wanted $300 apiece and they would have killed my butt for sure if I had tried to take that many puppies on my own.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #9)

KIDS NEED TO REACH OUT AND PET A PIT BULL

Actually the warning was directed at more than one person. I have been nice too and she always gets mad about something and uses something personal she gathered from another conversation. For instance she loves to use my son against me. I made the mistake of admitting my life was not perfect and had not always been that way. Many people use that as a weapon. but that's ok, as I know now I have done my best to help him. Some go for religion, some psychiaty, some school of hard learning. I guess I chose the latter.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #89)

Atlanta NAACP: Vick Should Be Allowed to Return to NFL

Well anyone in trouble usually has denial for their actions along with foxhole prayers and jail talk. DMX is the perfect example. I have to see what Vick will do AFTER he is out and not immediately either. In a year we will know what he is going to do. Right now all that is going on is jail talk mixed in with sport rationalizations for why he should be back. It's really just all crap except for what's being done to help his dogs and the changing laws for pitbulls.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #790)

David Teel: Debate necessary on horse racing

I was the Humane police today calling the hotline on thugs with pitbull puppies in parking lots. They took off before I could get them caught. I bet they had dope in that truck too.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #250)

the article didn't say whom!!!!I just can't understand people with money who don't take care of their animals. Today in an area of the city that isn't wonderful I saw something that made me call the hotline. A very nice Expedition was parked near the store I was shopping in. In back of the truck with the back up where I couldn't get the plates were all these pitbull puppies! they were adorable! I asked what they were doing here. the young boys said they were selling them. the puppies were buring up and had swollen bellies like puppies with worms do. I asked if they were dogfighters. they said, I swear, "no, I don't believe in jail." and i said "well you know what, I don't believe in cruelty". I drove off calling the hotline and alerted the shopping center security. the hotline put me on hold and the truck was gone the minute I drove away. They were doing alot wrong, probably from puppy mills to dogfighting. I wish I could have gotten that tag. I was alittle worried they migt shoot as I know they knew I was dialing the police. Those poor puppies.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #6)

NFL players who love pitbulls

Several NFL Players Like Pit Bulls, and That's Fine Posted May 28th 2007 1:44PM by Michael David Smith Filed under: Dolphins, Falcons, Saints, Steelers, Texans, Titans, NFL Gossip, NFL Rumors, NFL Police Blotter Last year Malcolm Gladwell wrote a great piece in the New Yorker about pit bulls. If you've ever read anything by Gladwell you can surmise that it was about more than just pit bulls, of course, but Gladwell made the point that just because many pit bulls bite people and many pit bulls are involved in dog fighting, that doesn't mean those violent pit bulls are representative of the whole breed. With the strong evidence that Michael Vick is involved in breeding pit bulls for the purpose of dog fighting, it should be noted that several NFL players breed pit bulls, but that doesn't mean they're doing anything wrong. Titans rookie defensive back Michael Griffin raises pit bulls as a hobby, as do former Texans running back Domanick Davis and Saints wide receiver Devery Henderson. There's nothing wrong with that. There is something wrong with former Steelers and current Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter owning pit bulls that killed a horse, though. And there's something very wrong with what Vick is alleged to have done. But just as the football players who get into legal trouble are in the minority, so are the pit bulls who attack people or other animals. Most pit bulls and most pit bull owners are nonviolent.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #1)

oh God,why? Middle Linebacker Antonio Pierce has pleaded guilty to animal neglect after it was discovered that he had several malnourished pit bulls running loose on his property. One of the dogs had developed a respiratory infection, and authorities say that none of the dogs had been given the required rabies shots. As part of the plea bargain in the case, Pierce and his girlfriend Jocelyn Maldonado have agreed to pay $1300 in fines each, and the dogs were to be given away.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #1)

Dogfighting

We all have things we would agree on if not on this forum with the subject being Vick. But we are on this forum and the topic is still Vick. On another Topix forum or even on the street we could be the best of friends, but the facts still remain that we will never, never agree on Mike Vick.  (Jun 7, 2008 | post #6355)
