Man charged in shooting, robbery of Marine

______ (Choose your race of choice) shoots Marine in robbery attempt." I would still change the headline to: "COWARD shoots Marine." Problem still? yes? Sucks for you.  (Yesterday | post #90)

Body identified as missing Kent man

I agree with giveMeABreak. Seriously, you expect the local PD to drop everything they are doing for a missing person? You know what? Sure, if this were Cleveland, Toledo, Cincy, Columbus. This is small town USA. Besides, I saw a poster for Brett on Saturday. if I didn't know where to look, how should others?  (Yesterday | post #4)

Man charged in shooting, robbery of Marine

The headline is wrong. It should read the following: COWARD charged in shooting, robbery of Marine.  (Thursday Aug 14 | post #46)

Cable giant yanks chains of OSU fans

Or maybe because Ohio State isn't all that good as advertised. Sure they run the tables in the Big 10, but come bowl time, they are an embarrassment. That reminds me, I need to order my copy of the LSU/OSU game.  (Thursday Aug 14 | post #136)

Cable giant yanks chains of OSU fans

Everyone seems to be in the frame of mind that everyone in this state is a Buckeye fan. Even if I had cable, I would not be able to see all of Michigan's games thanks to Time-Warner not carrying the BTN, but I do have an alternative to all the Buckeye complainers that have Time Warner, even an alternative to any Michigan fans. Turn on your radios. I guarantee you'll pay closer attention to the game since you'll have to form the image in your mind. 850 WKNR carries Buckeye games. And from a first hand experience, that is the best reception I have ever gotten from WKNR. Any Michigan fans...tune in to CKLW 800-AM for Michigan games. Hard to get at home, but in the car, very easy. But then again, with the advent of HD Radio and satellite radio, none of this should be a problem.  (Thursday Aug 14 | post #135)

Burger King worker in Ohio takes bath in sink

I agree. Who in their right mind would pull a stunt like this. Not only did this kid (yes I'm aware of his age) get his little 15 minutes of fame, but did you see a picture of that freak? He also got his coworkers fired as well. Just so people would support him in his music endeavors. I'll remember that next time I want to make a statement.  (Thursday Aug 14 | post #50)

Patrick McManamon: Don't curse the gods yet, LeBron to Greece r...

From now on? I've calling this sorry excuse for a paper the "LeBron Journal" ever since they started chronicling his every waking moment around his junior year of high school. It was really nice reading the daily articles of LeBron getting dressed by himself and eating all his veggies before Momma would let him play with his little friends.  (Thursday Aug 7 | post #45)

Car crashes into movie theater

Thanks for the reminder. You want THE secret sauce or MY secret sauce? Were you there? No, because you would have given us facts. Go back home, smoke a bowl, drink a 40, then get back to us.  (Monday Jul 28 | post #22)

Car crashes into movie theater

True. If it was an elderly driver, chances are she might have been confused as to which pedal was the gas pedal and which was the brake. I've seen first hand older people (and some younger people admit to this) drive with both feet because they think it increases their reaction time.  (Sunday Jul 27 | post #8)

Spud, not everyone is a Cavs fan or a fan of "The Chosen One."  (Saturday Jul 26 | post #3)

Death penalty sought in officer slaying

"Will the real Dinnis McCoullough please stand up?" Not a quote from an Eminem rap song, but it could be. Learn some spelling and I might take your arguments into consideration. Overall, I don't know much about the Conceal Carry Law, but I assume it is with a gun that is legally registered, correct? The gun I read about in the paper (and I am still searching for this article) was one of those designed to be hidden from view until it is drawn and fired. Classic coward act, if you ask me.  (Thursday Jul 24 | post #287)

Buckeyes get three noon starts for football games

I'm sorry, "MOM" but as I see it, Rich Rodriguez is starting a new page. Let's see how he does at Michigan then draw the line, eh? Can I tell you the story of Urban Meyer? Started at Bowling Green, went to Utah, then to Florida. Mentioned while at BGSU that his "dream job" was to coach for Notre Dame. He's doing pretty good for the Gators now.  (Thursday Jul 24 | post #57)
