Teen drama with an unusual twist

As someone who is intersex and has Kallmann's syndrome. this movie is a break through for intersex people like me everywhere. I hope that people can see the movie and understand what it's like to be intersex and growing up intersex  (Sep 4, 2008 | post #1)

'XXY' A Unique Coming Of Age Story

It ain't gross. As an intersex, it's not the same as a transgender. It's different.  (Aug 29, 2008 | post #3)

Record UConn Freshman Class Strains Dorm Space

That's why State universities such as Central, southern, eastern and western are far more better than Uconn and even the private colleges here are better than uconn as well  (Aug 20, 2008 | post #88)

Record UConn Freshman Class Strains Dorm Space

That's why Uconn is a joke. It keeps wanting more people and it can't find space to house them and their is no additional teaching staff their. It's time that our legislators start yanking Uconn's finding and checkbook until they get things straight. They should force Uconn to limit enrollment and give priority admissions to State residents, state students and students from the New England regional program. Make out of state students and Athletes compete for left over space. What's even sad was that when Uconn showed up at my community college in Hartford for a transfer day, they told me that if I wanted to attend Nursing school their, I was told to apply as a freshman instead of a transfer student to get into Uconn's Nursing school. Uconn won't even take Transfer students from state Community college even though they have a signed deal into law that forces them too.  (Aug 20, 2008 | post #83)

Record UConn Freshman Class Strains Dorm Space

That's the problem with Uconn. It's to money hungry. The problems with Uconn is that it's a state own and state run school who is trying to act more like Yale or Harvard when it's not even one of them. It should stop acting like it's Harvard or Yale when it's a State university. The other is that as a CT resident and a taxpayer, I am pissed off that uconn would use my tax dollars and every other state residents tax dollars to get more Athletes and out of state students than State residents and state students. Our legislators should do a couple of things, first off, Yank Uconn's funding and Checkbook. Two, make a law where state students and state residents get first pick and first priority admission to any state school or Uconn. Make Athletes and out of state students compete for admission while in state residents and in state students get first pick at Uconn. At the same time put a cap on out of state students and athletes. As a state community college student, I know I will never transfer to UCoon because I know they will never take in a state student because they would rather take in an out of state student or an athlete over a state student like me  (Aug 19, 2008 | post #73)

Jobless Rates In Bristol, New Britain 2nd-Worst In Decade

That's why those who are left in New Britain and in Connecticut feel like were in prison or in a version I call Devils Island. It's why that the only way out is if you got a government job, a College degree, a trade school diploma, join the military or landed a high paying job. It's sad that Connecticut is not doing alot to retain people but instead are driving people out.  (Aug 12, 2008 | post #37)

Jobless Rates In Bristol, New Britain 2nd-Worst In Decade

That's why our state legislators have their priorities wrong. They do need to fix our education system and pump more money into education. At the same time they should be lowering taxes, getting more companies to move in to Connecticut and Lower taxes as well. They should fix this transportation mess and at the same time, bring in a commuter rail system throughout the state. Put easy pass toll booths and fix our highways, rail and bus service.  (Aug 12, 2008 | post #35)

With experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. They should be well trained to take down gangs the same way they take down insurgents. It's time that Gov Rell start treating gang members as terrorist and insurgents. Start putting the Army National Guard Military Police Company on the Streets of Hartford and put down insurrection.  (Aug 12, 2008 | post #86)

The state Police hasn't done a good job and look at where their priorities are at. So its time to bring in the Connecticut Army National Guard MP's and let them have a crack at Hartford and let's see how fast these gangs can last. I bet our national guard MP's will do what they do to insurgents and terrorist. It's time to treat gang members as terrorist/insurgents and let the Connecticut Army National Guard MP's have a crack at them.  (Aug 11, 2008 | post #78)

Forget bringing in the State police into Hartford. Gov Rell needs to get her @ss in gear and start ordering the activation of the Connecticut Army National Guard's Military Police company and force the Connecticut Army National Guard MP's to patrol the streets of Hartford and have the National Guard go after gang members and treat them like terrorist and insurgents and take them out as well. It's time that Gov Rell declare Martial law and abolish the Hartford Police dept and make the State police and the Connecticut Army National Guard to patrol the streets instead of the streets of Baghdad.  (Aug 11, 2008 | post #70)
