Good luck with that you are still shooting yourself in the foot. The Mayor "sets up" different things, this is about CC NOT the Mayor. I believe you will have a very rude awakening to your protests if you choose this time and place. Like I said, this isn't Berkeley. I do find it ironic of the Mayor to discriminate against a group being as he is a black male that I am sure faced discrimination in his lifetime. What if someone had said " I don't hate him because he's black, I hate him because of what he does as a black man". Isn't that what he is saying about gays? (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #28)

The backlash you refer to has as much to do with his statement as it does his LACK OF value, input, etc. The Mayor is a waste of skin reagrdless of his views of gays. I would rather have had Elmer Fudd, Forest Gump, or even Sam Kurshan win than Davis, but we are not in a perfect world. If you are so fond of the Mayor, PLEASE invite him to Connecticut. Does this just mean that the "organizers " are not very organized? Watch out for those hoodies, they don't like gay folks. Protesting in Vallejo is a little different than Berkeley. I agree married. Very short sighted to have on this venue. Has nothing to do with CC and is an insult. Many who would normally spport this topic will be upset at the selfishness this group is showing by crashing CC's celebratio. This is the definition of cutting your nose off despite your face. You may "win" by having your protest when and where you want, but you will lose when it comes to the citizens seeing that this group will purposely ruin what should be a positive for Vallejo for their own agenda. You are shooting yourself in the foot by doing this at this event. Most folks agree with you, but feel this is not the place for this type of protest. CC had nothing to do with the idiot Mayor and his comments. This will make it appear as though nothing else matters to you but your agenda and the people of Vallejo have been dealing with other people's agenda's for too long already. I am sure you will still do it but don't expect the same response you would get if this was done at a more appropriatte time and place like a city council meeting. (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #25)

HI TV! It's been awhile. Thought I may find you here. Just want to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving and to let you know, don't worry, when I am smoking after my turkey, I will not be driving. Those black Friday shoppers scare me!! LOL By the way if you have never tried it, we deep fry our turkey in peanut oil! Once you try it you will never put a turkey in the oven again! You have removed all doubt. Look up hallucinogens (don't know what the hell a hellucenic is. Pot use will not increase, those that want to smoke already do. Ask your children if it is easier for them to get weed or beer and watch what they say. I sure hope your kids decide to find real information on subjects instead of spouting BS they know nothing about.
