Car boat lands pair in hot water
These guys already crossed the Atlantic in converted cars; they are obviously pros and should be left alone to chase their dreams. The world is becoming over regulated thanks in part to greedy, disgusting, arrogant, small minded attorneys who through frivolous law suits have single handedly restructured the laws of the world to treat us all like special needs children. It really sucks! By the way did I tell you that I don’t like attorneys? Who does. (Jul 21, 2009 | post #1)

Ok ….thank you for your comments. So what you’re saying is that a Staffordshire Terrier is not a Bulldog variety? And what I am saying is that you’re wrong. The Staffordshire Terrier is classified as a Pit-bull …don’t believe it? Then educated your self on the subject first. Don’t like it then…then call the American Kennel Club and complain to them. Statement below is from Dogbreedinfo.com “Classed by AKC as "American Staffordshire Terrier" and by UKC as "American Pit Bull Terrier." The American Staffordshire Terrier, are generally of larger bone structure, head size and weight then their cousins the American Pit Bull Terrier.” http://www.dogbree dinfo.com/american staffordshire.htm I agree with you about the owners being the problem...these dogs have been known to be trouble…but not because of the breed…but the ignorance of the owners. All dogs just do what come naturally to them. I am a dog owner, had many breeds with great enjoyment. I do however educate myself on that particular breed long before it comes into my life...it works out better for all of us. (Jun 29, 2009 | post #23)
Sharks face risk of extinction due to rising tide of fishermen ...
I don’t get upset in chat rooms...I have a wife for that job. But I do like to be sure that the facts are presented in an important discussion…the possible extinction of important animal species is relevant to us all. I would welcome a ban on shark fishing...give it ten to twenty years and they can possibly repopulate to sustainable levels. It worked for the Red Fish in Florida… they were nearly wiped out due to overfishing until the state put a 5 year ”no fishing” moratorium on the species. It worked! The Red Fish recovered in just 10 years....but it was a close call. (Jun 28, 2009 | post #20)
Sharks face risk of extinction due to rising tide of fishermen ...
Do your homework Shawne...Sharks are like many other animals in that there are many different species...and yes some sharks are already on the endangered list. We need to use our heads when it comes to the issue of species preservation...wer e supposed to be the smart ones! The world is changing a fast pace to the massive number of people..are we repoonsible enough to make it all work out?...given our track record, it does not look too promising. Listed below are species of shark that are considered critically endangered and threatend. Ganges shark Borneo shark Speartooth shark Whitefin tope shark Basking Shark (theatened status) Great White (theatened) Check out this website on what over fishing has done to shark populations...you will be better educated and properly equipped to discuss shark populations. http://www.flmnh.u fl.edu/fish/sharks /InNews/extinct200 7.html (Jun 27, 2009 | post #10)

Pay closer attention to what’s going on around you...here is just a short list of recently extinct fish species...nothing to do with Al Gore..I work on water and can tell you and first hand that the Shark populations are disappearing fast...do your home work and you will be sickened at how many fish and mammals are gone forever due to the "BWAHAHAHA cmon - thinkabotit" attitude...and were supposed to be the most advanced species....BWAHAHA HA cmon - thinkabotit! The funny thing is that its always the friendly one! Your a responsible owner to not leave them with your kids..I live in south Florida when the breed is common..so I see first hand a lot of damage done by these dogs. I believe that there are much better breeds that function both as a pet and a guard dog for the home..the Labrador Retriever comes to mind, as does the Bouvier des Flanders..an amazing breed that is powerful yet has little or no history with unwarranted attacks on humans. 14 y.o. battles flesh eating bacteria
Many of these devastating new bacteria strains are strongly resistant to the most advanced antibiotics...not a good sign of things to come. A good friend of mine is currently fighting a serious MRSA infection inadvertently picked up while visiting a friend at a hospital in south Florida. This stuff is living and multiplying under his skin and is very resistant to the antibiotic treatments, even in an IV format. My prayers and thoughts are with this young man who is in the fight of his life...at only 14 years old. (Jun 26, 2009 | post #1)
