Never Follow Security into the Back of the Store

This story claims Menards in Janesville extorted money from a customer. http://consumerist .com/5400831/never -follow-a-security -guard-into-the-ba ck-of-the-store I wonder if there is a way to find out if it is true or not.  (Monday Nov 9 | post #1)

OMG Guy Heinz charged with MURDERS!!!!

I can't imagine 1 man killing 7 people without someone helping him. Maybe killing small children by himself, but grown adults? I haven't been able to completely follow the story but did this happen when the victims were sleeping or awake? If it was during the day or a time before people would be sleeping I can't imagine a group of people allowing this man to kill them. I think more arrests will be coming from this.  (Sep 5, 2009 | post #8)

Caylee Anthony to the top

It has been widely speculated on the news here that Znny was really a code word for Xanax which she was a known abuser of. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she decided to make up a story about Zanny taking her kid when the reality was she was probably too doped up on Xanax to realize her kid was still in the trunk.  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #63)

Hot Springs, NC

Looking for a massage camp I went to in 2003

I thought I might ask here in case someone in the Hot Springs area knows what I am talking about. My husband and I both visited a massage camp in Hot Springs in 2003. I can't remember the name of it but they had a Hippie vibe to the place and had hot tubs on docks hanging over the river. They also did the massages in trailers on the property. We enjoyed it and were wondering if they were still in business there or not. I've searched all over the internet but can't find a place like that. We are coming back to the area in 2 months and I loved the hot tubs on the river idea. If they are not in business can anyone recommend another business like that with the same idea of hot tubs on the river?  (Apr 19, 2009 | post #1)

Girlfriend tells dad 'your daughter's gone'

Really? I think I made it pretty clear at the end of my post I wasn't saying the girlfriend did it. As a matter of fact I might go so far to say I don't think she was involved and this is looking more like the Jessica Lunsford story. Remember when everyone was calling for her father and grandfathers heads on a platter and screaming at them in the streets to tell them where the girl was? Her father said on Americas Most Wanted you could say anything you wanted to about him and his and fathers pasts, but it didn't change the fact his little girl was still missing and he was going to do whatever it took to get her back. You're right, people do play armchair detective on cases like this. A lot of times people are dead on about their gut instincts and sometimes something comes out of left field to prove everyone wrong. I guessed correct with Susan Smith, Pamela Smart and Charles Stuart. I also guessed correctly with Mark Lunsford, I knew he didn't do it, even after he readily took the lie detector test and people still said he was lying.  (Feb 14, 2009 | post #358)

Girlfriend tells dad 'your daughter's gone'

Here is the thing with middle-of-nowhere Florida. It is all trailers and back dirt roads. Gods country and extremely peaceful if you don't want the hassle of the big city. A lot of the trailers in places like that are really nice, but people always make it out like only trashy people live there. Not everyone who lives in a trailer is trashy. I live in a pretty decent sized city and you won't find many if any trailers here. But the majority of the ones I have seen are very nicely maintained double and triple wides. Hey, even Malibu, CA sells mansion trailers for millions. They are everywhere =)  (Feb 14, 2009 | post #300)

Girlfriend tells dad 'your daughter's gone'

I love Satsuma. I got lost one night and found myself in Satsuma. Such a nice, quiet town in the middle of nowhere. The problem with it though is there are so many long, deserted back roads there and thick wooded areas and swamps. Combine that with a missing little girl and she could be anywhere. I hope to God she isn't out there somewhere, and that she is still alive, but I just don't know. The girlfriend was sleeping right next to a little girl who is afraid of the dark and the little girl didn't scream or do something or wake her up when a shadow appeared in the dark? I'm sorry, but unless this woman can sleep through a nuclear explosion I just don't know how she missed this one. Not to say she had anything to do with it, but that would have to be some deep sleeping.  (Feb 14, 2009 | post #290)

Man convicted in 2004 Xbox slayings will seek new trial

Cry me a river Troy. You got your trial fair and square, and you all agreed to be tried all at once. Your fault it didn't go the way you expected it to. Better yet, maybe if you didn't kill 6 people you might be out on the streets right now! What a concept! When you value an Xbox over human life you have officially FAILED at life. You are where you belong, fairly. I just feel bad I have to support you for another 10 years before you get the needle.  (Feb 3, 2009 | post #1)

Deltona center offers help to homeless

I actually called the police on another guy and woman who came out of the woods on a Sunday when I went up to the bank to get money out of the ATM. I didn't get out and they walked behind my car. So I rolled my window down and asked them to move and the guy shouted to ask if I had $10. I told him no and he said they weren't moving. So after giving them a few minutes and asking them to move again I called the police. OC police told me they didn't have the man power to deal with that issue and to get out, ask them to move one more time and try to back out around them. I got out told them to move or I was backing out anyways whether they moved or not. They went back into the woods after that. Not too long after that I went into the bank and mentioned what happened to the manager who told me the police had been up there that morning rounding up a large group of homeless people in a van. Apparently 7 of them came out that morning and harassed people coming into the bank for money and the bank called the police on them. I hope they do read these forums because I think they take a backseat to the people up there in the woods and they really need to do something about it now.  (Feb 3, 2009 | post #7)

Deltona center offers help to homeless

I had another homeless guy approach me at the ATM in broad daylight and ask me to give him some money since I was there already. I told him I would go in the bank and call the police if he didn't leave and he just walked away and said he didn't want trouble. They all work in packs around Publix up on Enterprise.  (Feb 2, 2009 | post #5)

Texas mother convicted in 2-year-old girl's death

That was the one thing I said over and over from the start of this, why? Why not leave her in Ohio with people who loved her and cared about her if she was in the way of her happiness with the new guy. I hope the child she had after she went to jail was given to a loving family and will hopefully never know the horror his mother inflicted on his sister. She is a selfish little bitch and I hope she spends the rest of her life rotting away in jail where no one visits her and no one ever thinks of her again.  (Feb 2, 2009 | post #26)

Lawyers: Troy Victorino didn't get fair trial in Deltona massacre

Troy got his fair day in court just like he asked for. Oh, I'm sorry, it didn't go the way you wanted it to? Yeah, well you can go f*ck yourself and the defense attorney you rode in on. The only reason I shed a tear over Troy Victorino was because I realized my tax dollars were going to support his dumb a$$ for teh next 10 years until he gets what he deserves.  (Feb 2, 2009 | post #53)
