Bellville , a place to live and retire

I first visited Bellville 35 years ago with my wifes because her family has land there and she wanted me to look at it. I emmediantly fell in love with the place. Well since then she is now the proud owner of it ( and me ) We just love the friendly people and the unique buildings including the old Jail House that I will never forget. If you ever visit any place in Bellville do youself a favor and take a tour thru it. Then you will want to go to the Bakery but be careful because you will leave there with the best tasting pastries in the world. If you get a chance for an overnight stay try Waynes Hotel it is a good choice,we have stayed there several times in the past. Take a day or so to visit all the shops in Bellville and you will find all kinds of things you will like from Thimbles to Saddles . We will be moving to Bellville in a couple of years with and we are looking forward to the move to get away from the rat race here in Houston . I have never in the years we have been coming to Bellville ever felt like we were in any kind of danger like we do in the Houston area. The Police Department are all a bunch of nice people that will help you any time you may need it night or day. While in Bellville we are relaxed and love the fresh country air and we are looking forward of making the change from city life to Bellville life.
