JW's invitted to prove they have the truth
Read your own Watchtower. It says clearly that your "anointed " are changed instantaneously at death and go immediately to their heavenly reward without the need for a resurrection. Would you like to see the article? (Yesterday | post #73)
I have been trying to get RBR to answer that question for a while now. So far nothing. I would just like to know where he is reading this in the Bible. (Monday Jun 17 | post #1306)
JW's invitted to prove they have the truth
And according to the Watchtower of 2007 the first resurrection of the 144,000 occurred in the year 1919 which means that all of the Watchtower's so-called anointed that have died since that time go immediately to heaven without the need for resurrection. (Sunday Jun 16 | post #34)
See? And it's your false predictions about me like that right there that guarantees you are a false prophet! There is no question about it. Your false predictions will fail miserably. (Saturday Jun 15 | post #1281)
Oh yeah, by the way, did you hear who won the election in Iran? Headline: 'Moderate Wins Iran's Presidential Vote' Sort of a setback for your prediction of a radical Muslim world takeover and conquest. (Saturday Jun 15 | post #1274)
Wow. That was very imaginative. But I've never read anything like that in the Bible. (Saturday Jun 15 | post #1273)
Let us reason on your false notion for a minute. God destroys all wickedness off the earth. Mankind returns to perfection. Mankind continues to procreate. Children become adults. One of them is tempted and sins against God. All of his children are now imperfect. The whole world once again becomes just as it is today. What does God do? Send in another Messiah? (Friday Jun 14 | post #1265)
Yes, you will. But not because of anything I say, it's because it's all that Jesus talked about while here. The Kingdom of God. That Kingdom is not of this earth. It is the Kingdom of Heaven. Matt. 8: 11 But I tell YOU that many from eastern parts and western parts will come and recline at the table with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens; (New World Translation) ---- How so many men could read this and still managed to get deceived is beyond my comprehension! At least Charles T. Russell this much right. It was Rutherford that introduced the false belief that millions of humans would never die and live forever on this earth. God nor Jesus ever said that. We may as well face it now. We humans have a destiny with God to see Him face to face. That is what He wants. The Living God wants and desires us to be in His Almighty presence. That was His entire purpose in sending us His Son Jesus. (Friday Jun 14 | post #1261)

No. Jehovah's Witnesses are just plain wrong period. There is no coming Armageddon! The sooner you dispel the falsehood notion that God must have an organization on earth today, the sooner you'll get back to the truth. This life is what it is. This world of men will continue on far into the future because it is God's will for it to. (Thursday Jun 13 | post #1251)
Question: Is the Bible supposed to be on OUR side? Or, are we to be on the side of the Bible? I think the difference is monumental. Personally, I prefer to be on the side of the Bible. But obviously, some people and their religions want try to force the Bible to be own THEIR side. The results are usually disastrous for that religion and it's 1914 beliefs. (Friday Jun 7 | post #1197)
You're exactly right. I started having doubts about the beliefs of the Watchtower Society over 15 years ago while conducting the book study out of their Revelation Climax book. I had read the book a few times before but when I began preparing it as a conductor a lot of things just really started to jump out at me. It wasn't long before I started to shake my head in disbelief at some of the crap that was in that book. Once we finished that book I've personally vowed not to ever read it again. In fact, I went through my stack of outlines for public talks and weeded out anything that had to do with the year 1914, the appointment of the faithful and discreet slave in 1919 and anything else related to the organization. That left me with talks that were only about the Bible, the family and the resurrection. But even before all of this, I was already how a group that calls itself God's organization could say such ugly things about people who attend churches and other non-witnesses. Consequently, the same religion that convinced me that it was the truth years ago, later convinced me that it was absolutely NOT the truth!! (Tuesday Jun 4 | post #1155)
I'm done with this monumental waste of precious time covering your worthless argument. So I abandon you to your own devices and imaginary 1914 foolishness. But here is what I would like for you to do: When your human life is over on this earth and you find yourself standing before God's Son in judgment, be courageous and don't back down about this subject even after he tells you that you are wrong. Be as persistent and dogmatic about it as you are right now. Deal? Take care and God bless. (Saturday Jun 1 | post #1138)
No, it did not. The days of Noah ended when he died. The flooding deluge of water occurred in the days/lifetime of Noah. This also is indicative of your problem. You always attempt to redefine events to try and get the Bible to support your Watchtower agenda. But I let the Bible determine the course and then I support it. When Jesus told his disciples that the sign of his presence/coming would be Jerusalem surrounded by an encamped army, I begin to immediately look for historical support to that. I found that support in the Jewish historian Josephus. So did the Watchtower Society. The Watchtower completely agrees with Josephus and that Jesus prophecy at Matthew 24 was fulfilled -- up to the point of Christ's invisible presence/return in 70AD with the destruction of the Jewish temple. They deny that Christ has an invisible presence in 70AD when Jesus said to expect him, but they opt for 1914, a date that the Bible says absolutely nothing about. (Saturday Jun 1 | post #1128)
International Standard Version 37 because just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. ---- Well some hairs will have to be split until you are forced to know the truth. (Friday May 31 | post #1127)
