If you were to give Sarancotter a million dollars to find any post of mine where I have bragged about getting money from my church. (He wouldn't find one.) Why? Because I never did. I actually live on a very tiny fixed income, and I don't even belong to any church. So now we really know who the real liar is, and cotter will never ever be able to show you that post, because cotter is a liar and just made it up. This isn't a post to cotter. It's a post to set the record straight to all readers. I suppose the skeptics feel like they can lie about me more now, because I have decided to leave Topix. First of all: Telling a true story of a true event that takes place isn't defined as propaganda, but if you want to think that. (O.K.) I don't really care what you think either, so I guess that thought is mutual between us. So you can think I'm a propagandist if you want, because I don't care. You can lie about me all you want too, because I still don't care, because I know what I am, and your lies will never change who I am. As far as exposing me to readers, well you probably end up exposing yourself more than anyone else, and again I know who and what I am, and readers will also form their own opinions, but it's my God who will judge me, and my faith and trust is in his opinion, while I put zero trust in yours. Of corse you don't care, as I don't really care about your opinion, so any further correspondence between us is futile, as it would be with any skeptic. But I do thank you for making yourself clear, and for all to see, so all will understand when you and I ignore each other hereafter. I have decided just to respond to christians on these threads now, because I have written all skeptics off. (So I don't even care enough to even bother with skeptics any longer) Yet! You also attacked my motive pertaining to spreading the message of Jesus. Well! You'll be partially right about that now, because i really don't have any more desire to speak to skeptics about Jesus, because I don't really believe skeptics want to know about Jesus anyway. (I believe it would be UnChrist-like to push Jesus unto Skeptics. (Jesus actually avoided people of little faith.) I have no problem doing the same. So this will be my last post to all skeptics on these threads. I believe my blood pressure will go down too, because I won't be reading posts from skeptics either. First: Did you know that probably 98% of christians aren't wealthy nor have much money, and even though there are a lot of ministries taking in money, yet it's christians who are sending it to them. So most christians are giving money, and not taking it. I for one live on a very small fixed income, and money just doesn't spin around my house. As far the church being a haven for child molestors: Well please know! I don't defend child molestors, and most churches I know don't either. Also! Most of child molestors who have creeped into the church were men molesting boys, so they had gay tendencies, which is a good signal, that gay men can't be trusted around young boys. It's really a shame that gay men managed to slip into the church, but the total number who did, are not even a drop in the bucket to the total number of Priests and Ministers, who would never ever think about molesting or harming a child. I believe the reason some of these gays became priests in the Catholic church, was because priests can't marry, so it was a place they could disguise and hide their gay sex preferrences. I believe they never would have become priests if Catholic Priests could marry like Ministers of other denominations. The Bottom Line here is: You have blanketed the whole church with these accusations, when it really only applies to very small tiny few, who most were actually gays who slipped into the church. Another thing: The per cent of clergymen who have indulged in child molestation compared to all clergymen is still much smaller than it is in the secular world. Which means percentagely speak, there's more children being molested in the secular world, than there is being molested in the church. (Dec 14, 2007 | post #35064)

Sweet Serah, What can I say. You seem like a kind hearted person, and I have much respect for kind hearted people. The world needs more people like you. I believe in the heart, and value the human heart as more precious then anything else on earth. It was the compassionate heart of Jesus that made him my role model, which I have said numerous of times on these threads. There's a lot of skeptics on these threads, who might not think I'm so sensative in heart, because I get into a lot of debated stuff, and sometimes we can get hiper in hot debate, so sometimes I feel more like a warrior for christianity, than I'm true to my own heart. That's why I disappear for a while sometimes, because I need to get away from debate, and seek peace of heart once in a while. This thread seems to be very peaceful lately, so you're seeing part of my heart popping out, rather than my fangs directed at the skeptics, which I admit happens. I guess it hurts to see Jesus Christ mocked, so I can get rather hiper about it, and then all Skeptics watch out. But if the truth be known! I would rather have a peaceful dinner with someone. (Including skeptics.) Because I'm really a peaceful guy at heart. Which I know it doesn't always appear that way on these threads. Hey GunsShowOnTheNet, Haven't seen you for a while. Just thought I would drop in and say hello. I knew you were very politically minded, so I clicked on your profile to see where I might find you. I'm just now starting to check out the Republican candidates, so I haven't made up my mind yet, a to who I favor or who I don't. I also haven't read this thread much. (Only this page.) So I was wondering who you're favoring as far as canidates go. I realize you defend the second admendment, so I'm not surprize to see you on this thread. But I wonder what you think about Mike Huckabee? He seems to be a defender of the second admentment. (I Think) It's what I read on the net anyway. Tell what you think about all the Republian candidates if you like. I guess I'm seeking out other opinions from those I feel mostly connected with regarding politics. (So I can get into the political arena with more facts regarding this election. I guess I spent more time booing Democrats, that I neglected to do research on the Republicans, so I'm doing that now. In 1814 Francis Scott Key wrote a poem, and later the poem was set to the tune of a popular British drinking song written by John Stafford Smith and renamed "The Star-Spangled Banner" The Star-Spangled Banner was recognized for official use by the Navy in 1889 and the president in 1916, and was made the national athem by a congessional resolution on March 3, 1931. The interesting thing about our national athem is it has "In God We Trust" in the last stanza or verse. (See below) This must really bother the A.C.L.U., and I wonder if the A.C.L.U. will care to explain how a song with "In God We Trust" in it's lyrics became our national Athem, if the U.S. isn't one nation under God. Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation. Thank You Serah, Perhaps you'll like this story too! There was a man who lived from 1819 to 1886 named Joseph Scriven. John was a christian, who believed in the sermon on the mount so seriously, that he wood only cut wood for those who couldn't afford to pay him. He went on doing good deeds for widows and the sick through his life time. He often worked for no wages, and the community considered him a kind man. Joseph Scriven fell in love with a beautiful young woman, but on the eve of their wedding she accidently drowned. Later in life he fell in love again with a wonderful Canadian woman, but once again tragedy struck, and his new fiance died with pneumonia. In 1855 Joseph Scriven wrote and sent a poem to encourage his ailing mother in far away Ireland. A visiting friend discovered the poem titled "Pray Without Ceasing". When the friend enquired about the peom's origin, Scriven answered "The Lord and I did it between us". Scriven never intended for the poem to be published, but it made its rounds, and was set to music in 1868 by musician Charles Converse, who titled it "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."
