My 96 did exact same thing and then finally gave out. Replaced fuel pump and it is fixed. Now it looks like the starter gave out yesterday. AAARGGGHHH (Feb 10, 2007 | post #5)
96 caravan makes whirr then click click click when i try to start
this just started yesterday out of the blue. It eventually starts despite the clicking and appearance of drained battery by dimmed accessory lights. Please advise. Single mom in school need this car to go for another year at least and just had fuel pump, serpantine belt, distributor cap and rotor and spark plugs and wires replaced within last three months.
