Neighbor Charged With Poisoning Family Dog With Anti-Freeze

That is the dumbest remark I have ever read. You have some nerve bringing God into the equation. First of all,yes we as human have stewardship over all animals. However when someone delibertly kills an animal that is a domestic pet is cruel. Animals that are not pets deserve more of a stewardship. I personally dont like crickets,I am not going to kill all the crickets I see. Man domesticated dogs and cats (along with other species),which makes them responsible for their care. No one has the right to kill their neighbors dog unless it was a life threatening situation. Killing this animal has done no one a favor. Animals are created by God. God does not intend for us as the superior race to present evil doings. Survial of the fittest mean to survive by what God has given us. Hunting to survive,and present danger are a few examples of Survial Of The Fittest. Now,prove to me that animals don't have souls. The questions may sound crazy,however no one really knows. It's certainly not in the bible. Which leads one to say,"humm I dont know" as oppose to saying,"anima ls do not have immortal souls". Laws are in place for a reason. It's also a sin to break the law. Hi my fur babies are doing fine. However I had to take Zoe back to the doctors again. The coughing is pretty bad. I took her two weeks ago and told the vet that she sounds the way I do when I have a bronchial infection(which leads to asthma attack). The vet was unable to tell what or why the coughing two weeks ago. He have her something for naususness which didnt help. So on todays visit I showed him a video that I recorded last night as the was coughing. He did xrays and has determine that she does have bronchitis. He also said that sometimes it can lead to asthma. So if she had an asthma attack I can give her some of my Abuterol. He told me to one dose and bring her directly to him or emergencency care if it's after hours. She is on steroids and antibotic. She loves bannanas so the meds have bannana flavor. She is resting now and is doing fine. Willow look so sad when we took her to the vet. He was looking at the vet as if to say,"what are you doing to my feline sister". The vet is a good vet and they have been goingto him for a long time. He likes to play with Willow but Willow refuses to play with him. (LOL) I had to remind him that he gives shots and Willow remembers that. He calls Willow his blue coat friend. Ok I have to rum now. Maybe I'll catch a nap. I havent been able to sleep well not knowing what was wrong the my Zoe girl. We are expecting bad storms as a cold front moves in. The cooler breeze feels so good. Taking it to the top!! I'm back had a great time. I will probably go back next week also. Busch Garden is about 3 hours from me. Kings Dominion use to me my favorite theme park. Hi hope your having a great day. I go to the Six Flags here Maryland. It's about 30 minutes away from where I live. Unfortunatly this will be the last year for our location. Six Flags of Maryland has gone bankrupt. The closing of the park will effect many high school students that are employed with them for next summer. I do agree that one should not be labeled unfairly. Unfortunately it's a medical business to apply labels on children and adults. The label often justifies the enormous medical bills and medicines. I often inform many that the label should not define their lives. Associating a label(s),effects ones self esteem and ability to thrive. However with all fairness to the medical professionals, many are labeled correctly. Various tests are implemented to contribute to the diagnosis. I have also seen children labeled as "MR" to various degrees, In which I disagreed. I encourage the families to advocate for their loved ones that are incorrectly diagnosed. Speak Out I too am proud of those whom are from petersburg. It is an accomplishment with out a doubt. My mine is not closed,nor have I judged those whom live in Hud homes. Referring to "Hood" does imply a less than priviledge neighborhood. Online Slang Definiton : shortened form of "neighborhood ." Often implies a ghetto or urban community. a criminal or delinquent. Perhaps shortened from "hoodlum. " Dictionary.Com [Short for hoodlum.] hood 3 or 'hood (hŏ&# 335;d) n. Slang A neighborhood, usually in the inner city. [African American Vernacular English, short for neighborhood.] While you are correct in stating that the "HOOD" is a neighborhood, lets not forget the adjectives that describe it. You appear to be annoyed with my statement. My opposing your view on the description of Hood, does not mean that I don't share your opinion and gratitude of those whom are successful. The title of this forum clearly stated "Can Something Good Come from The Hood" To ask that question is to insinuate that it's few far and between. The sentence clearly leads one to believe that "Hood" implied undesirable neighborhoods. I also agree that the HUD topic is for another forum. I was not implying that HUD residents are lesser. I can only speak for the HUD homes in Cool Springs (which is another topic). Your post was not taken out of context. I clearly received your message and agree with you. Perhaps you were unaware of how the title of the forum was phrased ,and how one may perceive it. As far as black middle class families , and too much being placed on the issue, is also another topic. However, I will stated that even more emphasis are put on black middle class families. Some are jealous both black and white when one feels that one has more than the other. Because one may oppose to one's view does not mean they are not "looking out their front door", as they ignore and stereotype what's around them. This type of behavior is certainly not a part of my character. I was raised in Petersburg, and very much familiar with all of Petersburg. While I no longer reside in Petersburg , my parents, family and friends remain there. They say "Home is where the heart is". My home will always be Petersburg, thus the heart remains there. My point is Yes, Cool Springs is a black middle class neighborhood. Just as many in other communities work had for what the have, so do the residents of Cool Springs. Stating that Cool Springs is a middle class community is not implying that another community isn't. My front door is hardly closed. I see clearly what's going on around me and my community. I work hard to make a difference, and continue to make a difference every day. So,I'm sure that particular comment was not directed at me. Yes, the word Hood has a negative connotation to it. My mind remains open at all times to those that accomplish their goals. After all, I am an entity involving those that strive day in and day out to accomplish the most minute goals. ...and I stand on that 100 percent!!!  (Jul 29, 2009 | post #4)

Nicely said,however Trey Songz did not come from the hood. Cool Springs is hardly the hood. The homes in that community are many retired military and professional people.
