Prosecutors Oppose Murder Jury Selection Delay

The prosecution will win this requested delay, bc like other murder trials there has always been publicity. Potential jurors r always asked questions that determines if they will be selected to serve or not. Obviously, everyone wants the inevitable to come as soon as possible 4 these two murderers. A Connecticut Public Library Being Urged Not to Carry Book

To be urged not to read a book by the petit's, but to give $ to a fundraiser established in the name of petit's is ironic. Anytime after Thanksgiving is the start of the holiday season & any time up to New Years Day is recognize as the Christmas Holiday. Christmas is not a private fundraiser using out public streets. Nor do I have to explain what Christmas is to anyone, yet. Why would I have to explain, knee or pray to a statue of a man, which u must mean a statue of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. No, I never did explain nor know about "LIVESTRONG " yellow wristbands and don't need ur constant info station of knowledge. I have a right to accept or not accept other people's opinions, but I certainly do not go out of my way to personally attack others. So, what revelance does all ur questioning have to do with "In the Middle of the Night"? I support the cheshirelightsofho pe & just suggested a different forum 4 this, which has happened. True Christian? Ur derogatory remarks r unnecessary. Read that facts and ur assumption is wrong. I correct people like urself who just enjoy listening 2 urself bashing other's suggestions. U claim 2 be a Christian. Do u go into ur place of worship & assume they have mental issues because no one wants to see, hear or talk about the Petit murders? And I pray ur refocus on why the cheshirelightsofho pe's schedule & promotions have been changed for the better. My suggestions had nothing to do with u, but u seem to have a problem with others who do matter in Cheshire. As mentioned, the petit fan club can't continue to control, call out and crucify the public, state laws and citizens of Chesire or CT. This book is for reading not to hurt anyone. In fact it would help many Cheshire teens who r heading down a deadend road of crime to better understand if it happened to Joshua and could happen to them.  (Saturday Nov 21 | post #15)

Oboma wants to help the poor communitys, which needs help. While the rest of the country work everyday, pay taxes & keep the economy going. If the high cost of living were r only problem, we're ok. Middle & upper class pay taxes which supports the poor. Welfare, Husky Health Ins., so why ruin our elder's & present successful health benifits? Robbing or trying to control everyone's life or health ins. is tyrany! We r not like other country's. Americans do what losers or poor don't want to do. Oboma won't let Americans work 40 hours or over time, again controlling how much $ one person can make. Have 100 part timers instead of 50 full time workers. No Electricity

Found it! - Substation fire causes outage to 6,000 in aroostook county. Began about 6:30 p.m. Undetermined cause began at the utility's Fis River substation. 4,00 customer restored in Fort Kent, Madawaska, Frenchville and New Sweden areas. Wintergreen not going to be restored until Sat. a.m. Preaque Isle sending a crew, on route, to Fort Kent to install a mobile substation. Eagle Lake, Wallagrass and who know where else, no electricity! Why? When did this happen? I drive 10 hours to check into Northern Maine Sporting Camps and no lights, but we did get inside our room, but in the dark. WTheck? Does anyone know what happened?  (Aug 14, 2009 | post #1)

Lights Of Hope Brighten Cheshire

I had given up on trying to bring attention to cheshirlightsofhop e that resodents & businesses are preparing for the holidays and the public spectacle of candles paraded along rte.10 seeminly to be part of the festivies. I will address this again. So much has been said & argued, but an apology must be given. Contemptuous behavior follows when so passionate positions & thoughts go astray. Suggestive statements, as getting paid is cleared by the truth. It's easy to see this doesn't exist with cheshirelightsofho pe. Who expected to see this and find it to be all related to the murder victims? This event being hold at end of june, the summer solstice of light, with it's magnificent sale, enless hours of preparation, distribution and cleanup would be made easier for all volunteers. The true meaning of the fundraiser seen for what it is rather than what it is not. I choose to enjoy the public holiday instead of being forced to witness by driving by it for 2 days or told to recognize & educate myself to a fundraisers origin & purpose. I'm not a student for you to teach nor is this a pulbic educational lesson. I'll be forced to observe this new tradition to our public state owned road every Christmas time. Lights Of Hope Brighten Cheshire

What is ridiculous is U not understanding that the luminaries being filled with sand and candles is a slave driving effort done by mostly youths. It is pain staking work done by good hearted kids voluntaring.Then trucked to the sides of Cheshire roads & main drag of Rte. 10. Then each candle lite. Besides, the timing of this event being at the eve of the Christmas & Hanukkah season, these luminaries are distracting for the drivers and away from the holidays, question is why a fundraiser is allowed on a state highway and for what reason? It's not to celebrate a holiday, but memorializing the dealths of the Petits. Secondly, the majority of the town didn't participate in this fundraiser. Only approx. 10,000 did out of almost 30,000. Not even half the town. There is nothing wrong with religion or God because 90% of this nation celebrate God and Christmas. This is the christmas season, not a season for a parade of luminaries for a fundraiser or to make a specticle of these good woman. I just suggested to move this event to a more suitable place like a town park because for two days in the brutal cold these luminaries disrupt traffic and are unsightly afterwards on our roads.
