It's because it's easier to make dope than to work like an honest person. The police do their job by locking these underlings up but until the court system does its job and sends them away for awhile nothing will change. Also I don't understand the embarrassment or "narc" tag for informing law enforcement of a drug house or dealer. The only people who hate cops are scum bags who have been arrested multiple times. I think a lot of people are indifferent or maybe don't always "get" how law enforcement works but the only people who go out of their way to bash cops are dirt bags.
