Yes sweetie, this is a volunteer bake sale. You bake something and bring it to the bake sale on Saturday. That would be woinerful if she would bake some sweets for diabetics. We will start setting up at 8:00 a.m., across from Shepherds Center on main street, in front of ComPlus, which is next door to The Looking Glass. Us Girls have talked about it a lot on diffferent Topics on Topix. Didn't have my radio on today but as of today WRGS had the information about it. Then Phillip said he would also talk about it Saturday while at Heritage Days on the radio. Brenda told me it was in the paper this past week also. The word is out, you can bet on that. I just want to thank all of you out there that has helped get the word out to family and friend. I hope all of you are asking those that can and will to bake something. We need a lot of items. We are also accepting canned goods, such as salsa, tomatoes, apple butter, etc. I just can't thank the community enough for the support they have shown to support the veterans. (8 hrs ago | post #8)
