LA blocks new fast-food outlets from poor areas

Gotta love liberals... "let people choose how to live their lives, don't force your beliefs on others"... "oh by the way, do everything we tell you to. Drive what we say is safe, eat what we say is safe, Don't smoke, or else....."  (Thursday Jul 31 | post #1)

Stinky gambler fuming over NJ casino ejection

This is standard policy for all casinos. I've seen players asked to go clean up or change shirts during the WSOP.  (Thursday Jul 31 | post #3)

Should people on food stamp be able buy junk food?

It'a a good thought!... I guess it depends on how many more would need to be hired. For each one hired, will it offset the cost of employment with savings from the tricksters. You're right, the former dependents would probably answer that question the best.  (Tuesday Jul 29 | post #1831)

Should people on food stamp be able buy junk food?

Like everything, there are plenty of people who need this and use it wisely. And like every program, there are plenty who take advantage of it. I knew a gal years back, had two children. She was recently divorced and was on welfare. She used food stamps to buy food for her friends, she lived in a 300,000.00 home (her father was extremely rich, so I have no idea how she was eligiable.). So I've seen the worst of'm. The only way to regulate this, is to spend even more money on audits/auditors. So it's waste either way.  (Monday Jul 28 | post #1813)

Judge: Girl's name, Talula Does The Hula, won't do

I agree that parents shouldn't have their rights taken from them. I think what's happening though, is that these names are so outrageous that years later, the courts have to take time when the children try to change them. I think these parents are being a bit selfish. It may be cute when they are little, but it gets old, or even a headache as they age.  (Monday Jul 28 | post #9)

Johnson survives NASCAR's tire debacle at Indy

It was indeed boring. Even the most "exciting " incident happened on pit row with the tire being run into.... I guess I was looking for anything to make it worth watching...  (Monday Jul 28 | post #7)

Is it really that outrageous to tell christians their beliefs are nonsense?

Outrageous? No. However, the majority of those who would do this are the very same that stand up on a pulpit and say... "Stop cramming your beliefs down my throat". So Outrageous, no, hypocrites? Yes.  (Friday Jul 25 | post #46)

Bush To Lift Key Sanctions On N. Korea

First, it was a question, so I didn't put words in your mouth. You keep trying to make a point about WMD's. You are clearly making a comparison to Iraq, so don't lie and say you "said nothing about Iraq". You are clearly talking about the "invading " of Iraq and comparing that situation to N. Korea.. So it's more than reasonable to think you're endorsing the invasion of N. Korea since you keep bringing WMD's up in a comparison. You are the lier. You just realize you've been called out.  (Jul 1, 2008 | post #19)

Bush To Lift Key Sanctions On N. Korea

I didn't know they made links to TV shows. I'll have to learn that technology. And thanks for supporting my point on the Daily Show. Not that it tells the truth (as you dilusionally state), but that it is no longer a satire, because you libs THINK it's truth (and so does the host).  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #17)

Bush To Lift Key Sanctions On N. Korea

So once again, you're saying we should invade N Korea... This topic isn't about Iraq, yet you libs want to make is so. Bush finally did something you've been asking for, and you bash him anyway... complete hypocrites.  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #16)

Romania Churches Divided Over 11-Year-Old's Abortion Approval

I've never thought abortion was really a good idea, but I've always maintained that I don't really know if it's wrong either. So I pretty much have left it up to the individual to decide for themselved. That being said, I can't imagine denying an 11 yr old rape victim this option. There's just so much we don't know.. but either way, I hope this poor child finds a way to recovery.  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #8)

Bush To Lift Key Sanctions On N. Korea

And I was making the point that the same people who hated us entering Iraq for WMD's can't use this argument against N Korea unless they are trying to make an argument for Invasion. I also was making the point you tried to do above, except that I correctly showed that liberals hate everything a republican president does, even when he switches his stance. They hate him for both views even though they are opposite. It is the lib's that are the hypocrites.  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #13)

The Daily Show stopped being satire a long time ago. That being said, Stewart made his comments at a political function (and not as a comic), and NOT on his show. I also love when people go to the dictionary to try to prove a point, it usually means they can't argue the topic and have to try to pick apart specific words.  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #12)
